On a lighter note, as a dog owner . . . has anyone else ever noticed how some owners seem to resemble their pets in appearance, it's something I tend to look out for when I'm walking.

So so true Perps. only a couple of weeks back we were down at the beach when a woman came past with a giant poodle sporting a matching bouffant hairstyle matching the dogs! I think some must do it deliberately

Lol, I'm glad it's not just me on the spot then Dolly . . . I regularly met a very nice lady walking her 2 Westies, I swear she is the human embodiment of a Westie herself.

I'm often tempted to sniff her bum, rather than say hello when I see her.

You want me to be really, really mean now don't you Fagsareus . . . this lovely lady is short in stature, quite rounded of shape, so her limbs are sort of on each corner, her hair is styled a la Westie, she just needs a ribbon bow on the quiff.

Her Westies have tartan collars . . . and she wears a Tartan jacket to match.

I wish I could watch it, my puppy went mad last time I tried.

So nice to hear of the success stories, but heart breaking to hear how some of the dogs end up in shelters.
