.makes me all emotional............. I watch every week. Some real heartbreakers on there. I couldn't work there as I would keep bringing them home!! I shed a little tear when they showed the photos of the state of that poor little bald pup when it came in. There are some cruel, heartless bastards in this world.... So pleased she had a happy ending.

'Kicked about in a box'? Did I hear that correctly? Must admit I filled up and went to talk to the chickens. My dogs were watching it too!

I'd do more than kick those that did it in a box. Hang them up by the testicles for starters. My little dog sits right in front of the tv to watch it. Doesn't move till its finished I agree Chris. Such a shame a lot don't get homed. We got a lovely dog from there when my kids were small. I nearly went home with a three legged dog I felt so sorry for it, but the kids picked Bengi. When you asked him to smile he would curl his top lip up like Elvis

It's funny how dogs seem to suit their names.....or maybe it's just my imagination......I couldn't imagine the 7 dogs, 3 cats ( plus nameless kittens) & the African Pygmy Hedgehog having any names but the ones they have..............The only stipulation here, is that is has to end in 'ie', except the hedgehog whose 'e' got lost somewhere along the naming line...........

Here are my two rescues.............. cassie and Schmeichel, cassie had been locked in a shed for the first two years of her life, even switching a light on scared the heck out of her and schmikes was left in a house when his previous owners decided to emigrate and leave him chained to a radiator. Both great Danes

Just gorgeous soulutd there really is no excuse for doing those things to a dog. Even the most stupid of. People know there are places that will rescue them.

They both were from a rescue, i had to go through hoops to get them rehomed to me. a shame some of the breeders don't do the same, they are known as sofa dogs, that's why i've got a permanent ridge right across my rear end from sitting on the edge of the sofa, its not a VPL honest

I actually work for a small animal rescue/rehoming charity and I can't bring myself to watch this cos I know it'll make me cry. At work I'm in some kind of control and can do something for the animals that come in but I feel so helpless when I watch on tv cos I can't get involved

It's a programme I watch religiously as well . . . what can you say, the mindless cruelty inflicted on some of the poor mites is heartbreaking, I'm always astounded at the love and trust they are still able to offer even after the abuse they've suffered. On a lighter note, as a dog owner . . . has anyone else ever noticed how some owners seem to resemble their pets in appearance, it's something I tend to look out for when I'm walking. Bit weird I know.
