Does anyone here make thier own TEA (Tobacco Absolute & Extract)?
I made some the other day and used it for the first time tonite and am quite impressed. It gives the flavouring real depth.
I made it with PA Absolute and PA Tobacco blend following a method E-cig forum.

Yes Perpetua and also this one www.leisureliquids.com/patobaccoabsolute.htmlMixed together. Both from house of liquids. I only used a couple of drops of each in a 10 ml PG/VG mix. And then only a couple of drops of above mix in a 10ml mix of juice. was wondering if any others have used this and how much they used?

Yes no probs... chrisjwFor a 20ml mix of 50/50 PG/VG mix all I put in was 2 drops of this. www.leisureliquids.com/patobaccoabsolute.html3 drops of this. www.leisureliquids.com/patobacco%20blend.htmlI shook it well and put it in the ultrasonic bath for a a few 6 min runs over a 48 hour period. (It may well improve over time as well) In a mix (say a 10 mL tester) to give a juice a tobacco flavour, just put one (or 2) drops... then test it. I made the mistake of putting too much in my first mix... and ruined it, definitely be sparing with it. But the results are excellent... If I find the original thread from E-cig forum I'll post a link to it.

If I find the original thread from E-cig forum I'll post a link to it. There's a couple of posts relating to this subject, not sure on which to post ? but here goes. Newbie, feeling like a numpty, hear, but to clarify, if one followed the above instructions, does one then have a tobacco flavour . That all one needs to do next is, add some Nicotine Base, and PG and VG to suit ? For example, if one used say 50 ml of 36mg of Nic Base and say 20 ml of PG and 20 ml of VG and further say 10 ml, of the above Tobacco Flavour, does one end up with 100 ml of 18 mg strength , of Tobacco flavoured e-juice ?. Or is that too simple ? Of course the above may Vape crap or magnificent, just checking I have / have not, got the maths / idea right, in my head, so to speak. PS, have followed all the above links, not being lazy, just still not sure, and want to get into mixing some e-juice of my own, eventually. Almost ready to go, have PG and VG (diluted with vodka, 15 percent, drank the rest ) Hang on a minute before you reply, just going to get my protective head gear on. Thanks promethian and rich64.

Unfortunately its not as simple as that.
My TEA gives an additive background taste, rather than a flavour.
I'll explain.
A certain tobacco flavour will come from steeping tobacco leaves etc etc.
The TEA gives a background taste(Flavour) that can be associated with smoking in general. The Tobacco absolute is from leaves. The extract is like a commercial additve to cigarettes (The one I use).
You could try adding it to Nic base and see what happens. But I just generally add it to recipes to give a tobacco taste.
Hope this helps
