Have got a bottle of strawberry flavour and a bottle of vanilla, not keen on the vanilla but think it might be ok mixed with the strawberry. Any suggestions on mixing? Would 70% straw & 30% vanilla be about right or should I just try half &half an see what happens. 
There will probably be lots of these silly questions as I progress.....
by the way, although I am still new to all this I have really cut down on the rollies, from 200 grams a week to 4 rollies a day! And that's only in two weeks. My intention was not to stop but cut down. Well pleased.

Dont mix a huge quantity to start - if it's guff, you'll have wasted loads

Start with mixing 1ml of each together.
Taste it.
Then work out what you need to add more of.

Well done cutting down - it doesn`t matter how you get there, as long as you get there eventually !

Re: the mixing - it can be dependent on the flavours themselves, some brands and/or types of flavours can be significantly more potent than others,
so I would suggest (as with ANY mix for that matter) to make very small test batches and try them out....changing percentages to your liking

what could be puke inducing to one person could be vape nectar to another, and you don`t lose much if it`s really foul and chuck it out - if you only make a couple of mls to test with

Only you can know what you`ll like - but test, test and test some more....you never know what you may come up with.

Vanilla can be a difficult flavour, some are quite chemical/synthetic tasting . . . like Fred I wouldn't go mad sloshing the whole lot in together Davy.

Maybe 2ml Strawberry, with 0.5-1ml of Vanilla.

Thinking back, my Cherry Pie carto that I mentioned in your other thread started life as a Neatcigs vanilla carto. - It was the most disgusting thing you could imagine. As Perps said, really chemically & synthetic.

So, having 140ml of Cherry Pie, I thought what the heck, and filled it - It was OK. 2nd fill, better. 3rd fill onward, was just nice Cherry Pie

Hi Davyc, when I get a dodgy flavour that I just can't cure by any method it gets mixed.

Normally 0.5 - 1.0ml into another flavour that I know will mask it, some dodgy tobacco or menthol.

I often find this also improves the other flavour too or at least gives some variety.

Failing that I decant it equally into as many empty bottles as i have and keep adding other nasties until I either end up with something vapeable or it goes down the drain.

I thought I would get on with vanilla, but so far so NOT! I find that flavours I just don't like just ruin anything I mix them with. My advice would be to bin the vanilla, but I am happier to bin stuff than most

Blah flavours are worth messing about with though, I have made some amazing mixes with things that I didn't dislike, but they didn't do much for me either.

Don't bin it, save them up for sale, swaps or even give them away. Someone, somewhere will like it and it may help another newbie find their favourite taste.
