I nearly called it a day last night to be perfectly honest. Had got myself on track after a run of very bad luck, teething problems.
Had just posted that I'd found my sweet spot then not an hour later took the Evod off wrong, juice spilled everywhere. It might seem a small thing to most, but for me iit was the straw that broke the camels back.
Had a fitful nights sleep as was convinced that was it for me, just seems like it's not meant to be. Was convinced I was going to get up and nip for the papers and a packet of cigs. I then toyed with the idea of only having two cigs a day but knew that was wishful thinking. It really has to be all or nothing. I woke up, went about my morning and realised I'm not a quitter! So had a come on Siffy baby, you can do this self chat and am so glad I didn't crumble.
Today has been good because..
I haven't got juice leaking in my batteries Have spare ones now anyway if it does It doesn't matter if I can't dry burn, and get the pin back on, just buy news ones, still cheaper than cigs I am no longer pumping up too high on my spinner, burning out my 1.8 atty and microwaving my juice If juice goes everywhere, so what!, worse things happen at sea.
The fact I didn't go and buy some is huge for me, truly huge, as last night my thoughts where I am, enough, had given myself permission to call it a day. I am so glad I am sticking with it, long term it really will be the best decision I have likely ever made.
Thanks for listening guys, my hubby is an avid non smoker and as lovely and supportive as he is would just never understand. Just nice to be able to off load.

Well done Siffy, it really is a steep learning curve in the beginning, just keep it simple

We all get good and bad vaping times Siffy . . . especially in the early days when getting to grips with everything. You've come to far now to buckle, but even if you did have the occasional ciggy it really isn't the end of the world. Onwards and upwards now.

Dumping juice in your lap is a rite of passage! We have (probably literally) all done it at some point. Some of us still do it occasionally... Well done for sticking to your guns

You must keep at it - it used to be simple with the fags, get one out, light it, smoke it then stub it - apart from the odd "twig" you might find there wasn`t that much to go wrong unless you dropped the whole pack down the loo.... vaping`s a whole different beast with potentially more than it`s fair share of problems and annoyances. More than once have I smashed things to the ground and stamped them really hard because they annoyed me and it took 7 months or more before I found a setup that suited me..... and even then nothing was/is always 100% perfect ! it`s not always instant success, so as I said - keep at it, and don`t give up no matter how bad things seem to get, there`s always light at the end of the tunnel.

Very well done Siffy.
You have now proved to yourself never mind anyone else you can do it. Vaping is the way forward, onwards and upwards.

We've all been there in the early days, getting used to what to do and what not to do, sorting out little mistakes (and accidents) we've made and so on. It ain't no big deal really , it's just all part of learning and sussing things out, just like anything else that we do that's new to us, we're only human Glad that you've chosen not to pack it in. Onwards and upwards from now on

There will always be teething problems no matter what it is in life, sooner or later you will be able to just look at a problem and know the answer straight away and when you get to that point you too will be sharing your knowledge to others. Good thing is you didn't let the problem take over you so go into a empty room and do the Banana Dance: It's what i do when things go well

Awww siffy Don't get so down on yourself. If I can do it then anyone can. It's a huge learning curve and if we need to take little baby steps for a start then so be it. Just remember, everyone here had to start somewhere and we've all made exactly the same mistakes. Including dumping a clearo full of juice all over freshly washed jeans

Thanks guys, I am going back to basics, was happy there before the first battery broke.
Going to order in more 2.4 attys, then I have them and am not going down the different juice tasting rouite for a while. Was a happy bunny on the flavours I had so am going to keep it basic.
Just a learning curve, as you all say. Not helped I have woke up with a ruddy virus today, so that probably didn't help my state of mind last night, as started to feel pretty pants.
Feel back to my old self again now though, it's all good.

You are blessed, as it's the baptism into vaping & we've all done it! So welcome to the club! Well done & keep at it, siffy & hopefully the good days will far outnumber the bad & sticking to simple means that that should happen. As far as vaping goes, that's exactly what I do. Simple, hassle free, keeps it sweet.
