hi all - just a few questions of a newby ???
is there a big difference between the various liquid brands ? - like so far I found that simplyliquid is the cheapest but are for example the ones from vape escape better ?
same question for ego battery sticks and clearomisers - is there a huge difference on quality - has anybody experience with ebay ?
thanks all

there is a difference between liquid brands, but beacause we all have different tastes no one can say one is better than the other. Personally I find hangsen liquids good and inawera also good. Other people will find other liquids suit their taste better. As for batteries on ebay I would give them a miss, If you want cheap ego batteries I would recommend fasttech in china, the will take 2 - 3 weeks to get here, but for the price the wait is well worth it

eliquids - Like everything else there are bargain liquids and premium liquids. It all comes down to preference. I know a few people here have got some cheap liquid through Fasttech that they like. There are a similar number of people who love the bespoke liquids such as Grants Vanilla Custard. Try a few samples 5mls at a time until you find something that works for you.
Personally after a few months vaping I've started to make my own - Cheaper and after a bit of trial and error I'm getting some great flavours.
Batteries and clearomisers. I'd advise buying from a trusted vendor. From eBay you just don't know what you'll get and will have trouble if anything does go wrong.

Hi Clivia... Juices are a minefield, as it's all down to personal taste. I've got a trayful of juices from when I first started, some OK, some not. The OK ones were enough to get me off the fags, but then I found PipeSauce (from the USA) and there are a few UK suppliers where I get them from. However, while I love them, you may not. As far as eGos, I started with the eGo kit, which was (is) fine, but quite quickly went for the Spinner batteries which last longer and have the VV capability. Must admit I've recently ordered the i-taste MVP due to the rave reviews on here. Also I still prefer the rebuildable clearomisers, have tried the Vivi Nova & the Evods, but still come back to the clearos... again personal choice. Regarding eBay, I've only used them for syringes etc for my first steps into mixing. Probably confused you even more, just don't throw too much money at trying everything.

Thanks guys - I had similar thoughts about ebay - have already ordered a few things - not much damage price wise done - should get them tomorrow - becuase I definetly figured out that I need more clearomisers ( or maybe soon evods - will see ) I don't like when they get slightly warm - prefer the nice cool vape - and that from a smoker who for decades sucked on hundreds of degrees on cigarettes - weird - but good
thanks also Raffles - with what do you clean your clearos ?

Clivia if you haven't already bought your batteries there are some cheap ones here: paradisevapeuk.vstore.ca/ecig-accessories-batterys-c-4_23.html its usually advised to go for 900 mah batteries & above, they also do blister packs that have a battery, clearo & usb charger with each pack starting at £7, also you receive a 5ml liquid sample free with each order, as others have said everyone differs with which liquids they prefer, i'm fairly new to vaping (6 weeks since last fag) & for me personally i have had some juices from Paradise Vape, L.T.ecigs, FlavourArt & JooseJuice, most of them have been nice & quick delivery, just pick flavours you think will be nice & just order small quantities initially. Check out discount codes on beginners thread. For cleaning most people tend to rinse out with hot (not boiling water) & leave soaking with denture cleaner tablets in hot water overnight & then rinse & leave to dry for a day or so on kitchen towel. I don't know if you are aware that you never leave batteries charging overnight or go out & leave them charging & never leave batteries in direct sunlight, hope this helps you

Clivia, regarding eBay, please be careful as ebay banned the sale of e-cigs in 2008. And that means anyone selling them on Ebay could be banned at any time, & therefore you would find it difficult resolving any problems you may have with anything you buy from them.

thanks girls - good idea with the denture cleaner - will go tomorrow and buy some - and no worries - would not leave the batteries charging over night or in sunlight and now I am lazy - after all the vaping research of tonight - and simply ask - what is a Vamo please and the list with the suppliers is great - a bit overwhelming - but as I am a stubborn capricorn - I shall go through all pages to find the one for me just checked - this paradise vape looks promising - as they have clove - what would you recommend - VG - PG or 50/50 ? really really appreciate all the help here - hope I can be helpful in future to the new ones like me now

they usually mix at 70/30 (PG/VG) PG is for throat hit, VG for vapour, the denture cleaning tablets are Tesco's own = 72p or Home Bargains 59p, i'm a stubborn Cancer & have read as much as i can for tips & just to make sure i didn't fall foul back to stinkies & if theres anything you need to know just ask someone will always answer your query, as Perpetua said to me a couple of weeks ago "whats the use having knowledge if you cannot share it"

As far as testing juice goes - buy a pack of Kanger Bottom Coil cartomisers - take out the centre post and the filler and then you can drip the juice (3-4 drops at a time) into the now empty tube to test flavours - rinse and repeat. And Smoke Rainbow do a great range in trial size bottles
