Buy a device that has the option of both Mcallister then you can decide . . . there's the Vamo or SVD both reasonably priced with the dual function. Variable Voltage you adjust the setting to suit what you screw into the device. Variable Wattage once set then whatever you use will perform at that setting . . . a bit like air conditioning, it provides a consistent performance. In reality for me, I change a VW setting as much as a VV one as I like a different type of vape at different times of the day, which also depends upon what flavours I'm using.

Thank gawd they have gone for a one button system. The 3 button system is a nightmare. I just have to look at it and it changes the wattage. Ah i love the 3 buttons, so much easier for a quick change of anything, they should have a lock which locks the buttons. Can the buttons on the vamo v3 be locked or not ? Thanks

I'm still not sure VW does much personally. When I stick a different ohm atty on the watts stays the same but the voltage changes and it still underperforms/burns unless I adjust it for each one. Also the higher the resistance the lower the wattage the Evic recommends.

I'm the same in all honesty Kibbs . . . and find I alter a setting whether it's VV or VW depending on what I'm using and which flavour juice.

I agree, nothing I use is that consistent to be able to leave it set on any one particular value - mine`s up and down like a bride`s nightie.
Even *misers from the same pack aren`t all equal, and certainly don`t start off at the same wattage as what they do before they`re ready for the bin.
So not really sure about the wattage thing myself in real life use.

I like the variable watts cos when I forget to change it when I change the clearo I don't get a burn. Otherwise no diff really.

The way "they" sold wattage to me was you set your wattage you like and whatever head you put on it changes the power accordingly to get a consistent vape across all resistances so you never have to change it. "They" lied

That`s exactly how I read into it as well.
I still can`t get my head around any specific situation where someone would set it and truly forget it - or whether anyone actually does that.
