Hi everyone, Thought I should probably post something I'm new to vaping (1st vape on the 14th June) but actually gave up smoking cigs in October 2011 lol Slipped a couple of times while on night's out with friends, and found myself missing smoking but not the stinkiness or the 'orrible taste. So I figured I might try vaping. I started reading lots of forums and watching youtube vids and a couple of days later found myself ordering a Vamo. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I can't stop buying things lol. I now have a couple of Protanks, IGO-L, Nautilus, Kayfun Lite, tons of wick and wire, a zapper, and 3 more orders on the way from FastTech. (so far) This is starting to get expensive.... but the shiny's keep calling to me. I think I need to start looking at more liquids now instead of hardware. Problem is not all vendors sell ultra low nicotine liquids and I'm unsure what flavours I enjoy yet. (though I doubt I will want/like tobacco flavour) I would like to try all the hyped liquids like Pluid, Boba's Bounty, etc., but they seem to be quite hard to get hold of I was just reading the thread from joose-juice and was thinking of ordering some tasters, but they are only available in 18mg which I think would blow my socks off. Since starting last month, the only flavour that has really grabbed me is GVC, which is currently my all day vape as I was lucky enough to snag a 50ml bottle of 50/50 mix with 2mg nicotine. I've tried a couple of Liberty Flights VG liquids with 0mg, but I didn't think the flavours were very strong and although I have only been getting a little nicotine from GVC, I missed it when using the LF liquids and it kinda felt pointless *shrug* Anywhoo... Enough of my rambling Thank you for running this forum, you guys seem like a fun bunch See you all around the boards -Paul

Sounds to me you should get into mixing your own, it is really easy, and then you can have as much or as little nic as you want. Collect a few flavours and some base and have a play You might spend a bit in the beginning, but over time you will save a lot, esp if you want really low nic

Hi new here, too. All I'd like to say is that as a low or (like me) 0% nic vaper, making your own juice is going to be much cheaper than buying, and also gives you much better choice. I can't wait to start

Hi Pyr0, welcome to the forum - that IS quite a gap between quitting & starting ! Could be an idea to look into mixing your own, apart from the monetary savings over the long term, you can customise your juice to exactly how you want & like it - it might be a bit cheaper than buying more hardware

pyr0I agree with Kaaru - try mixing. It's easier than building your own coils and a much cheaper approach to the hobby than buying shinies

Thank you the warm welcome everyone I'll definitely be having a look at those websites shortly, thanks I've just received some 15ml bottles 50/50, 0mg from mt. baker vapor: Moo Juice, Blue Moo, Butterscotch and Wintergreen. All with 3 extra shots of flavour. Unfortunately the Wintergreen scent has gotten onto all of the bottles and I'm not sure I like the smell. It reminds me of TCP or something I have actually thought about mixing my own, but doesn't that take ages? I'm guessing you make up small 5 or 10 ml bottles at first, but the steeping before you know if you need to change something just makes it sound like it would take forever. Plus I still need to find flavours I like to vape first I just hope the Liberty Flights flavours aren't going to be what I can expect from other brands. And I'll need moar liquid to vape while mixing if I do go down that road I'm thinking about buying a small bottle of nicotine to add to any 0mg liquids I buy. Has anyone used the 72mg stuff from 28 Vapes Later before? It seems pretty cheap at just over £20 delivered www.28vapeslater.com/100-ml-unflavoured-nicotine-base-pg-72-mg-12345-p.aspAccording to the calculator I would only need to add 0.5ml to a 15ml bottle to get 2.32mg, I think it would last me a long time [edit] I guess I should have posted this in the other section.. Can a mod split the post or should I go make another thread/go find another thread to ask in?

I got a bottle of 72mg PG from 28vapeslater recently, seems fine, and is certainly good value Mixing is really easy and some flavours like mint only need a days steeping. I have some standard juices I self mix like DV real banana and absinthe, both are wonderful imo at 10% flavour, and after 3 days steeping are good to go. Mixing can be really easy, you don't have to make it complicated
