I'd just like to add my congrats for your achievement so far, Jo - well done you. I'm not sure I feel OK saying 'welcome' too 'cos I'm a rather erratic visitor/contributor here myself, but I know you ARE welcome, nonetheless!

It sounds to me from your posts both here and elsewhere in the forum as if you have done quite a lot of homework about e-cigs which is all to your credit but this is definitely the place to ask all the questions which will occur to you as time goes by.

As long as you are aware of (and alert to) the possibility that you can overdose on nicotine I'd say that at present you should not worry overly about how much you use your e-cigs as long as you aren't giving yourself overdose symptoms. Much better to keep yourself comfortable at this stage and address strengths etc once you have settled in to being a vaper rather than a smoker. There is one possible thing to bear in mind here, some people can find that vaping too much late in the evening can interfere with going to sleep (nicotine is a stimulant, after all) and unusual and very vivid dreams while first making the changeover is well, not unusual!! Quite a few vapers experience this.

And don't worry too much if you sometimes hit the tobacco while you're in the 'settling-in' phase, rather than berating yourself about having had some just think of how much you haven't used over the last few weeks.

Oh yes - and here's the thing I started off wanting to mention! If the single-coil cartomizers are lasting you about a week of heavy vaping, that is really GREAT value for money. If you cane 'em hard, atomizers can get pretty well worn out on you after only a couple of weeks use, so having a carto which was originally supposed to be a 'disposable' item last like that is excellent. Any carto which is lasting you longer than that is quite amazing!

Well it's not the single coil themselves on the sc cartos...more the plastic gets loose then they fall to bits...

Well we had a disaster last night..

The charge kept beeping and saying no connection or something

SOS trip to M this am...finally a quick nudge of the PP3 clip and everything is back to normal

The thing is whilst I could just say 'stuff it' and buy cheapo chargers from somewhere..I know they don't auto switch off when they finish hence you have to keep an eye on them etc in case of risk of explosion...

Also the turnigy accucel 6 tells me how much charge the batteries have in them and has a balancer

Never mind all the fiuid I got on my knees and ankles jogging yesterday ...

Okay had a MAJOR battery crisis. ...So will have to adjust the tallier to reflect the amount smoked...:eek: can't believe it's wednesday - where did Tuesday go? LOL

Yesterday by beloved turnigy accucel 6 just kept squealing 'connection break' all day...

so went out and bought 6oz.....

Today I hated (after 3/4 day smoking)...so found a cheap li-on charger at maplin and got that

Spent a wee bit on chargers and a few other things past week or so..

Went fully vaping again on about Tuesday...quite happy on it right now

Have various flavours to try and some non flavoured juice.... My fridge is near enough full LOL and not with food tee hee

Alas I have busted ligaments etc in leg overexercising 2nd or 3rd week of e-cig

And now I'm a month vaping. Not even craving cigs at all. Going to reduce very slowly. Having spoken via net and phone to a few other vapers further down the road know I need to be on beginning nic/ml for about 6 weeks then reduce by 1-2mg/ml...we'll see.

So nothing till after my hols

Going to VAPEFEST In October to boot ..will need a break by then... so more saving to do in September tee hee...Debt bust in August. Debt bust first 2 weeks of Sept then save for vapefest

So yeah got my wee treat yesterday...a lovely new e-cig from e-vap.co.uk

Yay where ya staying Bel? I'm in the gungate as need a wee bit of my own space....and don't want any problems with lemonade (I got banned from the Uni tory party for getting high on 2 pints of lemonade LOL)...and also cos it's the right side of the '?motorway?' for the fest and near the local evangelical kirk for the Sabbath the next day

You won't be able to miss me....I shall have medium (well below shoulder) length hair with a very plumby fast talking accent bartering my socks off like a trouper (ex Moneysavingexpert forum gal me and apprentice fan tee hee)...

So vendors please note SAVE ME A GOOD FREEBIE...shall be posting my list of wanted freebies @ vapefest for the vendors near the time...will have stuff in exchange (of course )...probably something edible/home made or vaguely so (the last time I tried to take muffins on the bus they got crushed tee hee)

And I read something on UKV about someone coming from Durham...boy that's like next door to tamworth compared to moi..I have a 9 hour bus journey the day before LOL

I'm going hardcore....

Not quite on the mods but on the juice LOL....

And debating Boge LR's from HC....

I'm on holiday soon and have calculated (approx) juice requirments per month - it's about 180ml at 36mg...or so (something like that) diluted....

I know if I vape 5% diluted I shall need 100ml of pre dilution for the month (diluting down to 28mg/ml - so that's 200ml of juice)....

I figure with my unreliable head it's best to mix for the month or two weeks and shove in the fridge...that way should any unexpected 'away from home's' happen I just have to put it in a small bottle and like top up with flavourings..far easier than calculations when out of it:)...

So yeah....have ordered 5% off the first one on the list...

Loving my wee torch mod from ref on UKV....just want a green one now...

The wee cheapo box mod from LF is not always reliable so once I have this new torch mod I think I shall be giving that away/selling for a few quid....

Anyhow...to get some Boge's or not...Will have to order cartos (about 50) on Sat/Mon due to hols and china post.....

I got 3 nights for £114.....I need three nights as don't travel on Sabbath (sundays) too much - not having four wheels...

I sent an email to Provape trying to barter a provari for $40 today - dang it didn't work ...I left them a message on here (mods be warned) stating I was not happy and that they went to to bottom of the queue for homebakes tee hee
