Depending if I can still get 18650's for it in a while
Preferably mechanical. Doesn't matter if it's telescopic or not...
Wanting a top side button. Not a bottom button or a bottom side button
Just want it guaranteed to last a min of 5 years...
Looking to buy anytime between august and october
Many thanks
JAne

Never seen a mec mod with a top button, not even sure if you can get them off the shelf as the button has to make contact with the negative end of the battery and that is normally at the bottom. Sure you could probably get one somewhere but would prob be a high end device / price If you can live with a bottom button this a nice looking mec mod and is a steal at £13 delivered .... ordered one 2 days ago and it was 2 quid more www.fasttech.com/products/1363300

Precise Plus mechanical mod from Super T has a lifetime warranty but it's a bottom firer. Available from Cloud 9 vaping. Take very little maintenance and if they go wrong you can send them back and get them fixed. Provari hasn't got a lifetime warranty but they're built to last and pretty tough - top side button and amazingly good. I have 3! Mech mods such as the Roller take maintenance and again, no lifetime warranty. There are very few to choose from with the specs you want - if it was me I'd go for the Precise Plus for a mech mod every time simply because of the build quality, the ease of maintenance and the warranty. The switch is beautiful and you'll get used to it quite quickly even though it's a bottom firer. Non mech mod it would have to be a Provari - it hasn't got a lifetime warranty but it feels like it has if that makes sense. Totally reliable, hits every time and my all day, every day device.

I'm a little confused about the warranty thing, I thought we as customers of items purchased from a retailer within the UK we are entitled to a 12 month guarantee as a matter of law, yet E cig retailers ignor this and offer little or no warranty. have I got this wrong?

I haven't been a fan of bottom buttons - but am really liking the Precise Plus 18500 thus far (2 days in ). Me Paps are off to the Classies this weekend i think Really easy to fire buttin, can stand it up without locking it and it doesn't usually fire (happened once so far when i accidentally stood it on something), the lock is adjustable to be easier or harder to set - feels great, easy to maintain, and lifetime guarantee TBH i'd recommend trying one, if thee can at either a Vapemeet or Vapefest - cos once thee get used to how to hold and fire them - it may just grow on thee

Yeah my mods tend to last me longer than 6 months. It's just for when I'm on zero nic and I have the odd ciggie with the odd relapse. Not for every day use... Some mods don't last me 6 months...depends... So yeah precise plus from cloud 9 it is... Can anyone tell me how much it cost as like the website is down and I need an 18650 extension with it too Thanks guys Jane

I got me P+ 18500 via Mido on the classies - C9 being shut can only say the direct priceis £154.99 and $159.99 fa the 18650 (+ postage and potentially customs etc) Again if going to Vapefest - Lisa should be there - so could arrange to pick one up and save £7+ on postage

Any warranty offered by a retailer is separate from your rights under the Sale Of Goods Act www.e-lawresources.co.uk/Statutory-implied-terms.php A warranty or guarantee is an extra, they don't have to give it, it's just a way of encouraging you to buy. (SOGA is another good reason for buying from UK retailers)
