Thanks for the link Perpetua although at the time i didnt think amaretto was on the list I don't know that it is Richo in all honesty, it'll probably be a component part of the flavouring that's caused the damage . . . there are some on there that I use very happily in polycarbonate tanks with no problems whatsoever, so it's far from being definitive. But if you or anyone does have an issue, make a note of it on the thread, it might at least help someone else not have the same happen to them.

I got one of these kits the other day with some free juice. I filled one of the iclear thingies, left it for a few minutes and had a vape on it. It tasted burnt to me and I threw it in my box. Looks like I might have to give it another go by the way you're all loving it. It charged my iPhone up no bother as well.

Got a couple of iClear 30's with my SVD and love the vape from them .... only thing about them is the air holes are at the top of the 510 threading so vape varies depending what mod you use it on.
Have iClears 16's on route from Fastech and if they are anything like their big bro I can't wait to try them especially @under £2 each hardly worth the hassle of recoiling them

The wick setup is similar to the iclear30 but single wicks coming from each side as opposed to 4. I'm still waiting for my iclear16 to try but you could try what I did with my 30. I cut the notches for the high wicks a little higher into the silicone cap and also cut smaller notches for the lower wicks. This decreased the number of dry hits dramatically. Also try putting a couple of drops on the coil and make sure all of the wicks are wet from the juice before vaping.

I'm waiting for my MVP to arrive with iClear16s but I'm not holding out much hope for them. I got some iClear30s with the SVD and I have had some terrible leaking and gurgling problems with them even when only half full. Even changing the head on them doesn't improve them any. I know lots of people like them but they don't seem to work for me. Although when they did work they worked very nicely. It's just that they don't work more than they work.

kailey, I get the same gurgling but this seems to sort it each time: Firstly make sure you don't fill over the 3.0ml mark. Take the iclear30 off your device. Stick a tissue under the bottom and blow into the iclear. It's normal for some juice to come out but this won't solve the gurgling for very long if at all, so: Take the top cap off the iclear and blow through it hard onto a tissue. Turn the top cap upside down and you may see some juice in the outer rim. Clean that up with tissue until dry. Get a corner of tissue and wipe the silicon cap that sits on the wicks. Clean any juice from the connector on whichever device you're using. This is a good habit to get into every time you take a clearo/tank off. Before you put it back together, check over the threads including those of the tank to make sure they're clean and dry. It takes a minute but solves the gurgling every time for me. Hopefully that will cure yours When it happens again, just repeat. (Aside note but I've also cut the notches that sit on the wick a little higher and cut smaller notches for the lower sets of wicks which helped reduce dry hits) Also I rotate heads. After a few fills or if i feel it's getting gunked up, I'll change the head and clean the old one under a hot running tap. Then stick it in a glass of hot water for an hour or so before rinsing it again and allowing it to air dry ready for use when the new head needs changing. When I do this I do take the whole iclear apart for a wash but all the rest really needs after that is to blow through the bits to remove water and a tissue dry.

Thank you so much, lemental. I'll go through all of your suggestions to see if I can get my iClears working because they did work very nicely when they worked.

No worries kailey The same thing frustrated me for quite a while before I decided to clean it and it is something that does happen quite regularly, perhaps every other day. I really do like the iclear30 now Let us know how you get on.

Maybe just needed to turn the power down a notch Blue I've dug it out this morning and give it another try. I only had it originally on 3.7, turned it down to 3.3 and its a lot better. When you remember some ego style batteries come off the charger at 4.2v, I would think a fair few vapers had the same burnt taste as me. Got to admit, it does give a nice tasty vape at 3.3v, just not a lot of oooomph with it.
