Iv been luckily enough to have had a couple of provari's one was won and the other a gift. I would of never spent that much money on one myself. Yes they are lovely and quite easy to use but saying that i haven't used mine for yonks, i prefer my girlie ego batts, much to hubbys dismay lol.

I could simply quote Blakey & Jason and that`s about it.
From the first page - everyone had typed stuff while I was doing something else

It's not an essential far from it with all the other lovely devices available on the market, that basically do the same thing. But! If you do feel like treating yourself to a cherry on your vaping cake, then a Provari is a purchase you won't regret . . . and for me the vape I have using one, is just that little bit finer than any other Mod I've currently got or have owned.

seriously to those who have a provari, is it really significantly better than an svd, bearing in mind price?

As i've posted before - owned a ProVari - got me 1st GLV3 mini (a GLV2 mini with top/bottom feeder option) 3 days later - and the ProVari just stopped being used (Bearing in mind this was 2 years ago and the need for VV just wasn't quite the same) - for me it was to big and heavy - compared to the tactile delight that was the GLV - and i never liked the feel of the button. I actually preferred the LT when it came out + had the simple addition of an up and dowm option too. Would i purchase on these days - maybe - but would probably be tempted by a Mister hybrid for the same money - or the combo i'm using at the moment - a P+ 18500 and a Kayfun Lite. The ProVari is an amazing bit of quality vaping equipment - it just didn't work for me Should be added: I've been Vaping for over 3 years now - so VV wasn't as readily available and i 'grew up' with either regulated eGo's or unregulated mods - so this probably helps explain why i'm not overly drawn to VV/VW I also quite like the battery drop off - the way it changes the Shape of my Vape, from Fierce to soft over time is a pleasurable experience to me - and then pop in a fresh battery and start again I only like the consistency of regulated voltage occasionally - so once the novelty of VV/VW wore off - i've gone back to preferring mech mods

I think the Provari looks smart - but I think its real virtue is the circuitry inside. It just gives a totally consistent vape, time after time. It also seems to make my batteries last longer. On my Sigelei things can get pretty muted or inconsistent when the battery voltage falls to 3.5 volts. I think the Provari finally calls it a day at 3.2 volts or slightly less. It''s also a very safe mod with electronic protection, thermal cutout etc and tells you positively when to change the battery before it gets overly discharged.
It's also nicely finished with some lovely engineering details -whilst also managing to be built like a brick outhouse!
I'm very lucky as my better half bought me a Provari as a present. I'm not sure I would have spent all that money on a mod myself, but now that I've used one I would definitely save for another if I felt I wanted another VV mod. I just happen to be rather into mechanical mods at the moment....

I have two Provaris, a V2 standard and a mini. I say that not to boast, but to emphasise the fact that I love it so much I bought another. I also have a lavatube, a zmzx, a vamo, an evic BUT - I use both Provaris every day, without fail, for all the reasons mentioned above.

I have just bought a provari mini (had it a couple of weeks now) and asked myself the same thing before buying it. To be honest it has no features a cheaper mod doesn't and was a little wary of this before buying. So glad I did take the plunge, it's worlds apart from the other stuff I have quality wise, feels like it will last forever and there is 'something' about the vape that is really nice - maybe its in my head or it could be that when I set a voltage on it, it is kicking out exactly what it says! The main draw for me was that after stripping my vamo threads I wanted something that was high quality and boy thats what it feels like! Also I use 'the twins' with mine, basically turning it into a telescopic device, pricey but worth the convenience!
