Yes. Mine become miners and try to dig their way into the carpet. At least thunder is an act of nature. I presume your hairy pals don't like fireworks either? I hate to see the dogs terrified

Yes. They hate fireworks. Strangely the young one didn't at first but when he saw the way the older one reacted to them, he followed suit.
It could be worse though. A friend of ours has to sleep in the stable with her horse. He freaks out from the beginning of November until well past the 5th. So our neighbour has "to camp" in the stable until it is all over.
At least I don't have to sleep in the Dog Beds!

At least I don't have to sleep in the Dog Beds! Karma already knows this . . . but I used to sleep on the kitchen floor with my previous doggy, him in his crate with a fleece throw over the top. It was the only way we could get through the trauma of fireworks/thunder storms, anything that involved loud noises Lobey. I got used it and it was the least stressful option for him as well.

My dog runs around trying to find where the noise is coming from be it thunder or fireworks, although she is the first dog we've had that isn't frightened. Dave
