Right, that's it....the last of all my rebuildable CE clearos have now officially gone in the bin I have just had enough of incompatability even between stock from the same vandors, wicking issues, burnt tastes, playing mix'n'match to get one working out of 5, that earlier on I just put the whole lot in the bin....so 3 centre posts, 7 tubes, and 8 heads have now officially ceased to exist... I'm sticking to my trusty bauway CE4s and the occasional boge XXL... ..unless I am tempted by the hype of the iClear 16 and get a couple from EBNFerro... ..will someone give me an honest opinion on any drawbacks of the 16s, as all I' seem to have heard is that they're the dog's danglies of clearos, and TBH, I've heard that before about other bits and been totally underwhelmed

I'm not a fan of clearos, much prefer carto tanks, but I'm seriously impressed with the iClear16. Good price from ebnferro, free shipping, usually turn up in about a week

I've never been a fan of the Vision Clearo's GJ . . . although leakage hasn't been a problem, they just mute flavours for me. The Iclear16's I like, although they are quite juice thirsty . . . I also enjoy Evods and Nova's, have you tried either of them?

thanks ladies, I do like clearos, just had enough of 'em.... wish the rebuildables were as reliable as the bauways..
carto tanks prob too fussy at present, maybe one for future..
really don't like the idea of evod or any other bottom-filler..
so other than a bit thirsty, no drawbacks to the 16s ??
soz, being a fussy PITA tonight.

No, I don't think so and spare heads are cheap enough and easily available

Not from me GJ . . . though I have read a couple of people say they're a bit gurgly, but I haven't had that. Nova's are a top fill though, coils last for ages like the Iclear I've found.

think with novas I'd be tempted again to start rebuilding, and then prob get peed off 'coz I don't need the hassle right now.. at least with the 16s they're dual coil so I wouldn't even try to rebuild them... spending too much time chasing around with work, the kids and hossie visiting Mrs 'Jack to do anything other than fill'n'go

to do anything other than fill'n'go Nothing wrong with fill 'n' go GJ. That's all I'm in the mood for right now . . . having a break from rebuildables, other than drippers, that's without any of the stuff you've going on. The vape from some of the current gear is pretty good for me, so I don't feel inclined to have the faff.

I love my iClears, only issue I have with them is they don't take kindly to being dropped

It surprises me that there is so much variation in experience with clearos.
I have tried them all (apart from a couple) and whilst the iClear16 is a notch up from V3s, it still dumps juice in your mouth eventually and is like sucking on a furnace.
There is only 1 clearo that I can say for 100% sure has not leaked or been a PITA in some way. It might not be the best vape and taste ever, but it's as reliable as the changing of the clocks.
...and no, it's not an evod....

For a fill and go I would choose the evod over the iclear every time.. evod is more robust and can be left on it's side with no issues.. protank is much the same (just better flavour and overall experience). If they did a protank with replaceable drip tip and plastic tank it would wipe the floor with every other clearo available imo..
I found that the biggest issue with the ic16 is the gurgling.. especially after refilling.
Problem is, they are thirsty as already pointed out which means that they need refilling quite often..
As an idea I was filling my iclears twice as often as the evods yet using them just as much as each other..
I also dont like the crackling and popping of the iclear.. lost count how many times I've had hot eliquid shoot into my mouth unexpectedly!! Overall they are just too much of a pita for me..
Evod or protank would definitely be the better choice for a fill and go jobby..
Suppose its a case of do you mind the cooler vape associated with bottom coil devices.. iclear is too warm for me personallyy so ita a no brainer!!
