Siffy, so glad you're liking the iclear 30 Both iclear 16s and 30s are just the dogs doodahs, you'll find the heads go on forever, well it seems like it. I've had 3 months out of the 30s and 5 months out of the 16s, still got the original heads in them, and they're as good as day 1 i just clean and dry burn as and when they need it Am I right in thinking you bought one of these ebnferro.com/innokin-dual-coil-iclear-16-changeable-clearomizer-clear and you used it for 5 months? Or did you replace something in it to get the 5 months? I'm struggling to get 5 days from my CE5's.

My main juice is a chocolate, which is very dark, and does ruin them quicker I think, would the I-clear still last with this juice?

I should last longer than any other head I have encountered, just remember to rinse the head well (with the plastic bit removed for rinsing) every few days. You could try dry burning, but I loathe the taste of burnt wick (which I am told is avoidable) so I never do. I pour boiling water onto any head that is needing more than a quick rinse, and that does the trick for me I just stick it in a cup, pour the water on it and leave it for 30mins, then rinse and leave to dry on a piece of kitchen roll.

Thanks for that. I have tried cleaning my ce5's in denture tablets, vodka and hot water, but the wick always falls to bits for some reason or it just doesn't work when I go to use it , god knows what I am doing wrong

Like I said, CE5 heads and iClear ones are different beasts. Make sure the heads are dry before reusing them, and don't yank on the wicks when cleaning or drying, as you can dislodge/move the coil and cause it to short With both, remove the plastic for cleaning (but remember to replace it before you use it ) I tried denture tablets, think I used the wrong ones, as no matter how much I rinse them afterwards, everything tastes like soap

I am just about to clean my iclear atty so am going to follow your hot water tip, I too don't dry burn, so glad I won't need to.

I've replaced nothing in the 5 months, original heads still going strong and still in daily use . It will be interesting to see just how long these babies do last. I'm a heavy vaper, i more or less have it permanently glued to my hand, I've always had 2 or 3 on the go (even with Vision CE4s) at the same time for flavour choice. .With the CE4, they'd need cleaning/dry burning every few days and i'd get approx a month out of them before i had to throw them away. My iclears weren't cleaned/dry burned for over 2 weeks, it's really a case of as and when they need it. All i do when they get a bit gunky is strip 'em down, run the tank, head, silicon bung and tip under running warm water, dry off, shake off and blow through from base any excess water from the head/center tube, wrap carefully in a paper towel and carefully dry wicks, dry off the base, stick it on a battery and dry burn, 3 seconds on, 3 seconds off til the coils go red, take off battery, put back together, check and wipe base and battery contact for any moisture, fill it up and off i go again They are brilliant clearos, a huge massive difference to the CE4s which i thought were good at the time.

I'm not convinced the iclear can last so long. I really am a heavy vaper (upto 10ml a day) so going with what I know - protank

That's entirely up to you, but they certainly do last as long as i've said, my converts have had 3 months and i've had 5 months out of the iclears with original heads. :DThey are by far the best clearos i have ever used.
