I seem to have had another senior moment when ordering juice. Meant to order 18mg and have somehow managed to order 8mg instead (aided and abetted by the vendor web site's default strength option!) So I can get 24mg, I'm not 100% sure yet what I might expect to get if I add them together in equal amounts? I do know that 18mg is perhaps a bit more than I really need or want, but also that 8mg is probably a bit too low of a drop too soon, having tried some. Just looking for an easy way (fool proof would be good!) to get it somewhere in between the 18 and 8. Could some kind soul help me out with an idiot's guide to mixing this one away please?

If you mix 50/50 with 24/8 you'll end up with 16mg

Now I've had time to think about this it prompts me to ask another question; it does seem in this case that the outcome is likely to be the result of averaging the numbers between the data available. Is it safe to rely on that at all times with this aspect or is there some other maths required? It's just that so far I never saw anyone say explicitly that you simply use "average" as the means of calculating the new resulting numbers, however it does make some sense that you might do it that way. It could be that this is a fluke because I decided I wanted to mix the ready made juices 50/50. It could be that no one said to use average or that I have yet to bump into that bit of advice? ??? I'd like to understand if I can as I would one day like to mix my own and understanding this is bound to be part of gaining the knowledge required for that. Sorry if this seems like asking the blooming obvious!

As far as my limited maths takes me, yes you are right, it's simply a matter of averaging the 2 juices you are combining to get the resulting strength. No doubt someone will be along with at least a Maths 'O' Level (yes, I am that old!!) to correct me if I'm wrong! Andy
ETA: and of course, by changing the percentage of one juice to the other, you can mix at almost infinite level to get the desired final figure. It doesn't have to be 50/50. The ingredients of both juices are the same (or they could be different, if you are feeling adventurous!), so the only difference is the nicotine strength. Hope this hasn't confused you more than helping!
