As long as you feel satisfaction, then rock on Morgan. I'll leave everything as it is for now, but as soon as I start to swallow, I'll look at changing a few things. Despite the numbness, at the moment I can cope with it on my lips and tongue. Saying nowt to that one, i'd get banned

Morgan. As a long time user of E-cigs please take my advice and have at least 2 spare atomisers you never know when you'll lose/break/ruin/swallow one! OK maybe not swallow one. We once had someone whose dog chewed their only spare. Many a atomier have gone to join the odd socks in the 4th dimension (got lost), you get my drift? You must have backups and a backup for your backups! Sent from my Nexus 7

Pretty sure there was along dead thread on this, but the advice was press the fire about 1 second before you took a draw, then ( & I hesitate to use this word fiddles) continue to suck for about half to a second after you've released the fire button to avoid condensation, & if you think condensations a myth wait till you get to SS rebuildables with a 22mm top cap . . . pouring out I tells you

Reading through this thread no one has mentioned blowing through the attie after filling because no matter how careful you are you sometimes get liquid down the air tube.So it is good practice to always blow through into a tissue before fitting back on the battery
Oh and welcome Morgan

Morgan2 other things I've thought of (as well as the refilling thing mentioned by Ron ) Are you 100% sure that the drip tip is properly screwed in? Recently, someone had the same problem because they thought it was push fit. Double check that it is properly aligned with the rubber grommet above the wick, and that it is pressed up tight to it. Recently, having been carrying my Riva (with v2 attached) in my pocket, I noticed that the plastic part of the clearo was beginning to slightly separate from the metal base. I could fit a finger nail in the gap. This stopped the drip tip seating correctly on the rubber grommet, but I removed the drip tip, and carefully squeezed it back together. Have to keep aan eye on it now, but if I'm careful, all is good. (I've got a lanyard now, which saves this problem from arising) & finally take good heed of DiscoDes 4 posts back

Thanks for all the advice guys. This message board has a perfect combination of relevant information and filth, so you may have another regular poster here I have finally gotten around to cleaning my riva and so far have had no leakage issues, which I suppose is a good thing. I ended up using kitchen roll (didn't fancy using a t-shirt because I'm not a dirty bastard), and it worked a treat
