Hey guys, Loving my riva 1100 with the menthol liquid, however, I’m having a slight problem at the moment. Occasionally, when I inhale, I end up with a small amount of the e-liquid on my tongue and lip. It wouldn’t be too much of a problem usually, but sometimes it’s enough for my tongue and lips to go numb for a few seconds. I’m at the stage now, where I often find myself chasing that occasional leak, it’s quite addictive. Is this normal and more importantly is it safe? By normal I mean the leak, not chasing the leak. If it isn’t safe, any tips to avoid this?

It's the menthol that gives the numbness, shouldn't do any harm but the nicotine may after a while, also shouldn't be leaking.
If you have CE4/5 clearos is probably the tip not screwed in properly and/or the little silicone seal on the shaft come adrift.

It's not recommend to drink juice, no! You are obviously still alive, however What kind of clearo are you using?

Roll up a wee bit tissue or loo roll and stick it down the drip tip to get rid of the condensation there to save it getting into your mouth

Some members lick a drop of new or home-brewed juice to assess the flavour, so a drop here and there won't make you die

No joke Morgan condensation builds up in the mouthpiece bit, drip tip, so it makes sense to clean it out now and again BTW, you are going to die unfortunately, but not from getting a bit e-juice in your mouth

Morgan - bet you went to the stores for some tartan paint as well But this time, Karma is telling the truth - clean it out with a bit of bog-roll, tissue, kitchen-roll, hankie, t-shirt, ear-picker, or whatever you can get down the hole to soak it up

Thanks all. What are the first signs that a clearo needs replacing? Usually loss of flavour and/or vapor

Thought I was the only minger that used my T-shirt fred You can roll a little bit of it up several times a day, and it then gets washed. No wastage, and I've always got a t-shirt, but not necessarily any of the other items
