How to tell when carto needs changing?

As you all know i have recently found out how amazing cartos are, just wondered when you know it is time to change one. I am starting to get a tight draw from mine and the flavour is going so im guessing now is the time?

Can you clean and dry cartos like clearos or is it just easier to throw away and start with a new one?

Sounds like it's time for a change. Some people have had success cleaning cartos, but I don't bother!

Get yourself over to Health Cabin and stock up cheaply, don't hang about though, good deals sell out quickly there

Yep, tight draw and no flavour = dying carto. I usually get about 10 days from mine (Boge 45mm SR in a FT DCT), and then all of a sudden you're sucking instead of drawing, and wondering why the juice doesn't taste of anything any more!
Mind, for what equates to £1 each, I don't consider that bad at all!

Slow Boat, cheapest option takes around 4 weeks.

Thanks Karma will give them a go but could do with some a bit quicker at the moment as the smok glass tanks i bought came with smok cartos which i cannot stop from flooding.

I allways give them 1 more chance. Prime cleaning in hot water and 2 times in Ultrasonic cleaner, the 2-3 days drying. They are good for testing new flawors etc...

mine only last 2-3 days....I get a burnt taste no matter how much I refill them

I usually chuck 'em at that point and don't worry....though am about a 10ml a day vaper

I change my Kanger carts as soon as I feel the performance drop , every 2/3 days .....could most probably get 1/2 weeks out of them but there's nothing better than a fresh cart & fresh battery

My Boge cartos (that is till love) last me about 2/3 days, then I chuck them. At about 50p each from health cabin, it's really not worth me trying to clean them IMHO

when you add the shipping costs, XXL Boges from vapingthings work out almost the same, but delivered in a couple of days rather than several weeks

Sorry but I am a cheapskate, I straighten out a paperclip and gently push it from the battery end so I don't damage the heating coil. I then clean the black residue on a tissue. I repeat this several times until I can see through the cartos center hole. Then, I spray canned air (the type you use to clean your keyboard) down the hole at the battery end to clean out all the old e-juice and burnt residue....This method helps me get a week or two extra out of them. Also, It's cheap and will help you hold out until your new ones come...Hope this helps....Your cheap American friend Tim.
