Saturday 31st August Vapers Demo at London Parliament

Hi Peeps.

All those that watched VTTV last night, heard Dave Dorn inform us that the vapers of the UK are organising a demonstration outside the Parliament London buildings at that date.

It being a Saturday with no work next day, we "ALL" need to make that effort to be there.

German, French, Belgium, Dutch, vapers will also at that date Saturday 31st August, be demonstrating outside their parliament buildings.

This is our opportunity to inform the `British` public ,let alone our MP`s, that "E-CIGS SAVE LIVES".


"COME ON GET OFF YOUR BACKSIDES AND SUPPORT THIS DEMO".

Remember vaping is keeping you off the `tobacco stinkies`, and can save YOUR LIFE. !!!!!.

I shall post in future when further details are released.

I did post in jreply to Alan in the LSE thread when he mentioned it, but got lost amongst other replies.

I am definitely going to go to this. If anyone wants a lift in the Dolly bus you are very welcome. Because I have blue badge parking disc I can park right opposite the Houses of Parliament. Has a set time been arranged yet?

With enough vapers at the demo outside parliament, the press and TV companies will be there in numbers, which should enable it to become world wide news.

That`s why it`s so important we get a really good show of support, and that we are not just a few hundred `geecks`, using dangerous

inhaling equipment, which is worst than "smoking tobacco products" W.H.O. statements via twitter recently.

We need to act and this is our opportunity, does`nt need to have MP`s sitting in the `parliament`.

If you want to continue vaping in the future , now on 31st August is the time to show the UK public and Health Authorities, we are a serious healthier group in the community, who wish to continue and to `save future peoples lives".

Take action peeps or we shall loose out to the EU & MHRA mob.

I can understand your logic in thinking ,it needs to be done during MP`s in the parliament, but watch this VTTV video, that plus the EU parliament vote taking place either 9th or 10th September, may answer why 31st August selected.

jeffc Have the press and media actually said they will be turning up? Sorry for the questions, but I only use an iPad and can't seem to get VTTV to work properly on it.

Okey doke. Will keep an eye out.
If, as you say, the media do come then I guess it's worth doing, but if not and there's no MPs around either it would be a fruitless task on that date.

Too early yet. And promises can easily be cancelled.

And we are depending on enough people turning up and a decent angle for the press, to get any air. Do something silly to get on the news and you get coverage, you also get madmen status and no one takes you seriously.

The amount of marches that happen in London is silly and almost none of them get coverage. Just conveying the reality.

I do agree with the action and I hope to be there (it's a difficult day for me and I will know more later).

BUT, talking to your MP and MEP will likely have a much better value. Seeing them in person is the best thing.

The Press/Media will never guarantee to cover any event, any where or on any specific date, as they react to the news as it happens so to speak and deploy their resources as they see fit, if you follow my drift. They will only ever say, with the best intentions of course, "we will try to get there".

However, I do not wish to pee on your bonfire. So why not organise such an event, and all those who can not get to London, have their own demo on a local level, all in sync of course. A sort of "Vape Meet" come "Vape Awareness Demo", in your area.
