Yes, outside TV Centres/Radio Stations, is as a good place to do such a local demo, that way their crews don't have too travel far, and they can not ignore you. I know these demos are promoting a serious issue, but, dare I say it, you would get more coverage if the demos where carried out in a Carnival Atmosphere, sort of fancy dress with three foot long Vamos. That last bit is up for debate. But from a visual point of view, it gives the cameraman something to focus on, and that's the sort of thing/pic that will grab the front page.

Yes good point, well worth thinking about. The hardest thing is getting people to join together and doing it.
So many vapers don't know that their vaping days could be numbered.

I'll be going to any London demo if it's on a weekend.
Couldn't make the Brussels one because I had to be at work

Would there be any interest/opinions on trying to go to Anna Soubry's constituency or indeed to a Midlands venue eg E.Midlands Airport/Donnington area  on 31st Aug. instead of Parl. Reasoning

1 Much more central for greater number of peeps

2 Easier Access

3 No MP at Parl. and another demo is meant to be taking place the same day

4 Anna Soubry deserves the sack

5 Whole idea of protest was for solidarity with EU countries doing protest all on the same day

6 Same idea holds but quite a few Midlands MEP anti-meds regs  could invite 2-3 to speak along with some Public Health figures eg Bates,Stimson,Hayek   + some music 


If we can chuck as many ideas into the pot as possible

That might be a good thing you know - we'd have a clear shot to put a good case very well without any heckling from the politicos. Lot's of lovely facts to be brought out to good effect! The naysayers can not win against that sort of thing!

After watching tonights VTTV show it looks like the 31st August is a NO GO.

They have set up a "War Committee" and will gives us further info a.s.a.p.

The Demo in London scheduled for 31st August has been cancelled, due to E.D.L. having a demo in London on that date.
