Mod? Pipe? Dalek?

Kept knocking over my Vamo/Sig 19 when sat at my desk/workstation/receptacle for all things vaping and pen making. So ... 10 minuets on the Lathe and 30 minuets with a broken KTS?? and a soldering iron and I present the 'Thing'  It's sole purpose is not to get knocked over!!

18350/650, 12mm switch and cannibalised KTS (which I dropped and stepped on) and a lump of Laburnum I had lying around in the shed.

















And bugger me it works!!

Repeatable? I guess so, but I would change a few things I think, There is no thread for the Ego folks and having to make a battery tube rather than hacking a Mod (albeit a cheap one) + finding nice wood (that would be the interesting part). The photos don't do it justice, there is real depth in the grain but it was straight off the lathe and waxed. I could have spent a bit of time sanding and oiling then buffing ... but seeing as it was just something I wanted NOW and did not want to wait for it I am happy. (Good paperweight as well!!)
