Howdy all coming over to see how things are in the "Mother Country". I am a native Texas, bod my roots stretch back to Lincolnshire. Seeing Jolly old England is on my bucket list and I'll get there some day, but you know how Vaping can eat up SERIOUS coin. At any rate, glad to be aboard. Howdy right back at ya, fistofsouth, and Hope you do get over here one day, Lincolnshire is a beautiful part of the country. I've been on holiday there quite a few times, love Lincoln itself, full of history.

Sadly my ancestral home (Garthwaite/ Gathright is under a lake right now, but there are only two World Capital (Alpha++ ) cities on Earth (cities capable of serving as the Capital of the planet) we have one (NYC) and y'all have one (London obviously). Still my home town has moved up from gamma - to Alpha- (according to the Belgians ) since I showed up so I'm good with it; Y'all do have a 1798 year head-start, so have patience. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Hi fistofsouth Welcome to our forum. We shall be interested to know how your `state` treats vapers. Happy vaping. jeffc As a general rule freedom is loved and protected in Tejas, but we still have not made certain "herbs" legal and I am absolutely crestfallen about that.

Thank you for the advice fistofsouth I like the idea of the tube thing to keep all the beer and water cool, nice idea BTW, I'm in Scotland, we are very used to ice and I believe we have better rivers than England My wife is a McGregor (or I guess a "Roy" when the English made it illegal to be McGregor) and I have some Gaelic (Irish and a bunch more we are ALL mutts over here) blood in me myself. Sad really because my Irish parts and my English parts are in a constant struggle againt one another..well unless when they unite to get at my German parts and make them FUBAR.

Thanks again for all the warm welcomes..one would think y'all are Texans if they didn't know better.
One last thing; thanks for passing the baton to we Americans. I know we are ruining your gorgeous language (most English 5-year-olds have a more advanced vocabulary than an American with PHD in English), but some of us do try. I will be asking MANY questions so it is good to know that I have so many quality people on the other side of the pond. We really do appreciate the class and grace England has shown in being cool about the Good Old US of A trying (TRYING) to move ANglo-American civilization forward. I am SERIOUS, we need you and studies show only Israe,l Australia and South Korea love us the way the UK does.
Thanks again for the heartfelt welcome. Y'all will always be welcome on this side, at least if I have anything to say about it.

Well I would hope you are quite bright and selective in who you bang i.e. not an Essex Girl, but if you are, the world takes all kinds right? Self deprecation is a good way to stay humble so if that's your intent then stay calm and humiliate on.

Hello F.O.S. & I've been lucky enough to visit the USA 3 times but the nearest I've got to you is a 3 hour stop-over at DFW airport so no time for sight seeing, but I have been to NYC and to Albequerque (late Aunt lived there), Flagstaff & the Grand Canyon and I've been to Florida too. San Fran is on my "bucket list" I will get there, one day (maybe pay out of my vaping savings!).

Heh, just tried - they just give up and define it as Russian. We have a really good summer here, btw. Unfortunately I can't stand temperatures above 25C, but many of my friends are delighted about it. We've had a bad spring with flooding and the type of rain we call "good English weather - the rain is almost vertical".
