Hoping to convert someone today:-)

I have a very good friend coming over today to try and convert her long time smoker partner. He took great interest in my Rival kit last weekend.

As I have a couple of blister packs I am going to give him one along with some juice and a couple of ce4 clearos and a carto just to get him started.

He said last week he would buy something when he is with me so he knows what he is getting so. He is a very manly man so the started kit won't be to his liking long term. What would be the best thing for him to try? Don't know his budget yet, don't know if he wants to Vape and go or play around with vv/VW either.

I am quite excited by the prospect of helping someone convert and also keeping them away from cig-a-likes which he has only tried someone else's.

I will of course direct him here so he can get great advice from people who know a lot more than I do.

I think of it as a two step process, first say goodbye to burning stuff
then once that is achieved start looking at the bigger picture.
Too much information can scare some people off before they get started.
For most I find trying to keep it simple, explain the elements and that every device
works with these three parts no matter what it looks like from the outside.

OK I am not going to go into too much detail especially on rewicking and coiling. Not going to talk too much about different tanks, though whilst he is here he can try the ones I have.

I think I want to try and help him save money by pointing him in the right direction rather than buying then trying, especially where juices are concerned.

Hopefully he will join the forum and say hi.

It went very well.

I sent him away with the blister pack, spare clearo and a carto. Also 6 different juice flavour and strengths including some gvc which I found too sweet.

Also gave him the forum name and Vape Escape website as he like Grizwalds Artic cherry.

I quickly explained the batteries, mods I have and then let him try them and several different juices which I have on the go. Even talked briefly about mixing and rewicking/cooling, but only to show him where he can save money if he wanted to.

Hopefully he will introduce himself very soon.

Great efforts on your part zeldamum and a very well done. If we could all turn a couple of people away from the stinkies and then they do the same, this time next year, we would be an even bigger force to fight the good fight. The big T would collapse along with the big P and the "Angel of Death" Macavan would have to find some other form of income...........assuming the vapers/voters decide that she has been less than honest with her agenda.

My friend has just been up and together we ordered him an SVD, battery charger and batteries from Fasttech and 55ml juice and an iclear 16 with spare head from Vape Escape

He said he isn't into forums so i don't think he will be joining so I may have to ask a few questions on his behalf when he gets his kit.

So far even with the blister pack he has managed to cut down his smoking by just over half. Like me when I started he can see the potential in vaping.

Thats great zelda good on you, my nephew & his gf quit the fags last week, he was telling me on Sunday that since hes been using his pv at work that two lads & a girl have joined him with vaping, thats some good going i think converting three people in his first week
