Thoughts on menthol mix

Hi all
Ive made menthol juice. I know it cant get much simpler. But it is very dry on the throat. Its mainly vg, a little pg and menthol crystals dessolved in pg. I know vaping causes a dry thraot a bit anyway but this is very dry. Any thought on why.

Not sure if this will help but I also found Menthol too dry for me so now I mix 3/5ths Menthol to 2/5ths Spearmint and this gives me a lovely vape.

I call the mix Minth.

I have vaped ready made menthol and its not as dry is this is so i must be doing something wrong. Just not sure what

Ready made menthol may not be made using menthol crystals, so would not be as drying. I have some menthol concentrate and it's never seen a crystal I'm sure.

I have tried mixing it with ordinary Mint but that did not make any marked difference.

However the Spearmint leaves a luvverly after taste and has become my favourite late evening vape.

Hardyboater, Perhaps the ready made had a little Koolada in it. This would give it the Menthol Taste without the dry throat.

Ah ok. Perhaps ive put to much menthol crystol concetrate in aswell.
Will try adding some spearmint when i get some as that sounds nice

It's also quite nice with some Peppermint Hardy, adds more depth and takes away the dryness . . . though that isn't so noticeable in a VG heavy mix.

I add 20 drops Peppermint/10 Spearmint to 30ml on the Menthol Mixes I make for friends.

Also a couple of drops of aniseed or absinthe help give menthol some depth.

You only need 2 or 3 drops, it just gives it "fullness"
You can't really taste it.
