Finally home, great to have proper washing facilities at long last.
Fantastic week only split by one numpty leader who went home mid week. He almost caused to have a stinkie, but resisted.
Lots of happy memories, totally shattered and managed on 3-4 hours sleep a night somehow.
Can't believe the rest of the leaders and I are already planning to go to another Jamboree in 2 years time!
Didn't have much vaping time, came home with 2 18650 batteries untouched and both riva and ego still with charge. Vaped less than 10ml in 8 days.
Well worth it, I will put some photos up when I have had a couple of days to recover.

Welcome home Zelda . . . good to hear you survived more or less intact and your supplies were more than adequate by the sounds of it.

Was it your jamboree that David Walliams visited? I know it was in Cornwall.

Welcome home zeldamum - have a good night's sleep, and tomorrow you can spend inside washing and ironing as the weather's not going to be fit for much else!! Andy

This is the kit that I took for one weeks camping. Oh. And added to that was the 1000kg folding camper and a full car boot of SWMBOs clothing, Dog Food, Dog Beds, etc etc.

Was it your jamboree that David Walliams visited? I know it was in Cornwall. Yes it was, although I know Bear was visiting 4 Jamborees yesterday I don't know if David Walliams was going to all 4. David got a much bigger cheer than Bear Grylls and a chant, the children loved seeing them. My son and another of our Scouts shook Davids hand. I saw them but had to leave to help a scout find her hearing aids. So missed the Walliams walk around. They were only there for 45 mins from when the helicopter landed to when it took off so less than 30 mins on camp. And he was afraid of the zip wire according to some of the management team, he wanted all safety gear and a he let, the children didn't get helmets. No washing today chykensa myself and another leader did all the cooking on camp, 4 meals a day for 30 people, totally shattered, tea in bed all day I think. Omg lobeydosser that is so much kit, all mine except the juice fitted into a case the Riva starter kit came in. The only reason I hardly vaped was because I couldn't do it in front of the children, the explorers are but not the scouts, and no time to disappear to the smoking area with the smokers.

I have to say I'm a little disappointed that nobody has a Lumo in their packing list

I used to be a Cup Leader, so I know the problems of having a sly fag (as it was then) away from the Pack.
As for my camping/vaping kit, I prefer to have too much than too little. This came in handy when someone approached me on the campsite using a Riva and wanted to know where they could go from there. I was able to show them Tanks, MODs etc. They left determined to take their vaping a stage higher.
