Just a quicky for you guys, if the Nic base doesn't freeze completely like water does it still expand, I'm just trying to figure out how much room to leave in the bottles, or is there no need can I fill a 100ml bottle with 100ml & not worry about the bottle cracking or top being forced off ???

If you put 100ml of nic base in a 100ml glass bottle you will still have about 20ml of airspace depending on the design.
I'm not sure on the expansion rate but it would not be wise to fill the bottle to the rim.

I've got some of the empty 200ml glass VG bottles I was going to use & looking at a full one there isn't a lot of empty space at the top . . . . think I'll put 150ml in a see how it looks, & keep checking it for the first day.

You should be able to go the full 200ml. A water ice cube only expands about 0.5mm in every direction.
Considering that VG technically freezes at +17°C I can't see it expanding in a domestic freezer.

And it would vary slightly, depending on if it is VG or PG Base Nicotine.

I've not noticed any expansion on either PG or VG nic base 4Mad . . . but I don't fill my bottles up to the top anyway as it makes it easier to draw off if they're not full, full. Plus, I like to give the bottles a shake when I've let them come back up to room temperature, just to make sure the contents are evenly blended and it's difficult again to do that with a full bottle of any liquid.

Thanks all, guess i'm just a little paranoid had some pretty messy experiences with the menfolk in the house putting bottles in the freezer then forgetting about them, everything from tonic water to lucozade to lager, & of course it was never them . . . . my cats must have some flippin funny drinking habits when I've go to bed, not to mention those good old opposable thumbs for opening the freezer door Any how didn't want to risk it with 75mg nic base, so I'll just leave a sensible working space (but will probably put the first one in a resealable freezer bag just to be on the safe side) Oh & it's VG Frogster (The Alchemist) only a litre but I thought I'd give 50/50 a go for the home brew, specially since 70/30 or even 60/40 even with reduced nic is still a bit too much throat hit for me first thing in the morning.

My 100ml medicine bottles full of nic base are labelled with a poisons sign and date of freezing then wrapped in clingfilm. Then wrapped in bubblewrap and sellotaped, another poisons label with date and then another good wrapping in clingfilm. Then the bottles are in a box that's completely watertight as it's covered inside and outside with packing tape. That box is also labelled on every side with poisons labels then sellotaped. The whole box has several wraps of clingfilm around it. It would take a game of pass the parcel lasting several hours for a child to get to the nic! Is that OTT?!

Yes never mind the kids think I'd have given up before I got through that lot, bit short tempered I am . . . probably quicker to order a new supply from USA

I forgot to add that I put more bubble wrap in the box so that each bottle would remain completely upright and not budge a mm It probably took a couple of hours from a litre of nic to the freezer but I'm safe in the knowledge that the bottles are going to stay upright with no liquid touching the plastic caps. This lot should see me through the next two or three years so I thought I may as well go to town on it
