Hi everyone, Can you tell me which guage of needle to buy? I'm currently using a 80/20% vg pg mix and the needles I have just wont draw the liquid into the syringe body. Thanks.

I use 14g (green) blunt needles with 100% VG, not perfect but can't easily get any bigger.
The best trick is to warm your VG 1st (an electric baby bottle warmer is perfect).
Failing that dip the needle and pull the syringe piston up past the level you want and hold it there, within a few seconds the VG will catch up.

Thanks raid, I didn't think to warm the liquid up! The needles I have just now are diabolical, it takes ages to draw the juice into the syringe.

No worries chuck it's so easy to overlook things like that. Some of the needles they put in kits are useless 20g+, lucky if you can water up them! A good tip is to get your needles from a printer toner supplier, they have bigger sizes cheap. I think the last ones I got were about 20p each.

Some needles have a filter in top (a gauze type ) Take needle of syringe and look in top , if it looks white my guess it has filter . If it does push sharp pointy object through it and make a hole, VG will now be more manageable

I prefer cylinders for mixing, syringes just for adding flavours.

Can just leave the needle off chuck and use syringe only and tilt the bottle if it does not reach the liquid.

That's what I'm doing now Romelee but I thought it might be a bit easier with a needle when I get nearer the bottom of the bottle.
