I'm having the same issue with my VV/VW V3. Although it still fires (and I LOVE this battery) the built-in resistance checker displays "NON" no matter what I attach to it. It still functions; however, this battery is just over a week old! Any suggestions as to what could be going on? I'm afraid to mess with the positive pin in the battery as it is still firing but it just sucks that it won't recognize any clearomizer / tank I attach to it.

I had one that for some reason the magnet pin cable connection had failed and I contacted my retailer who replaced it for me. But I have found certain clearomizers don't read with it unless I have a 510 to ego adapter. Where did you buy from?

NON means no connection. Have you tried cleaning the magnet pin softly with a piece of tissue?

But I have found certain clearomizers don't read with it unless I have a 510 to ego adapter. Where did you buy from? Every clearomizer / tank I've tried will not produce a reading. I tried both 510 & ego threaded devices. The day before it started displaying "NON" all the time, the resistance reading changed from a steady 2.1-2.3 to some wacky readings like 5.2 or 4.7. It did that for about 8-10 hours before it stopped recognizing all together. When your magnet pin cable connection failed, did it still fire? Mine is producing vape like it always has (wonderful clouds) but it just won't read the resistance. Yes, I have cleaned it up really well multiple times with a little bit of alcohol.

Mine had stopped firing when the pin connection failed. If I was you I would contact the retailer for some advice they might be able to replace

That is quite a coincidence but I'm really glad to hear you got yours working correctly again! I am very curious to see if we discovered a little trend with the VV V3....I hope not because I love this little chameleon!
Anyways...I touched the edges of the pin lightly and got a little wiggle, but I'm too chicken to put any more pressure on it. I don't have the right tools to properly pull it up...my tweezers don't fit well and neither does my smallest screwdriver. Bummer.
Since it is still firing, I think I'm going to use it until Monday then listen to that little angel on my shoulder and not mess with it anymore. I'm just going to have to bite the bullet, send it back to freakin New Jersey, and let one of them be the person who tries to push the pin up (and possibly breaks it).
Thanks for the help!

I only give it a little wiggle with a small screw driver, have you tried with a knife as the point my get into the gap. But again be very careful

Found out why I had so many problems with this t3s the wick was too short it was only coming out of one side. Now I have to learn how to rewick this. Any tips? Any recommendations on what materials I would need?

This is a company recommended by Super-Shiny and many others on the forum Tj: www.vape-atomizer-mesh.com/0.20 Kanthal and 2mm Ekowool seem to be suitable for many recoiling jobs, but I'm sure someone more able than me will give you a definitive answer.

Makes it easier really Rom, rather than having to have a number of gauge wires and various thicknesses of wick to hand.

Yeah sod all that, as long as i get about 1.8ohms and it vapes well i am happy, been through all the different sizes and the above seems to be well balanced. Like the old saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it"

I think as so many of us now use VV/VW it's not so critical to get the ohm's spot on Rom as we can compensate. Not, that I'm suggesting for a moment that your coils are anything less than perfecto, it wouldn't pass your strict quality control if they weren't! Mine are scrappy, cobbled up affairs, but if they work then I'm happy.
