...So, haven't been around much lately. On Saturday went to the pub with sis in law who's a recent convert to the world of e-cigs and she mentioned she was having a few probs with her Tornado leaking...went to have a look for her and thought "blow me, what's this?"it was the Tank Tornado. Well, I felt a bit of a numpty, I've never seen one before and haven't paid much attention to all the new stuff coming out since I thought I was perfectly happy with my LR cartos. (ignorance is bliss) The idea of not filling up whilst at work is appealing to me now and I'm wondering whether to order one of the LR cone atomisers, am I right in thinking only one t-cartridge is needed? as Cloud 9 sell them in singles and money is tight (what's new) Also, what are the 'i tanks carts' James has for sale...and why do I need some?

Hi Lindz, great to see you back and glad that you're still a vaper I'm not very adventurous and don't know half the new atties (generic term) on the market, but tomorrow you'll get lots of answers and suggestions, I'm sure! scylla

Thanks Scylla, still vaping...one year next month. I've sort of been caught up in a new hobby of late, after becoming an unintentional dog owner

Lindsay hi again To be honest I would recommend the dual core (don't everyone pass out please) atties from Jason at Vapescape www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=Vaping+Spares+%3E+CartomisersThey're on £8.49 for a pack of 5. I'm finding once full one will last me a few hours so if you carried a full spare they should keep you vaping all day and no leaking

Scylla, will add pics to the pet thread soon!

Hi Lindsay & congrats on almost a year of vaping & becoming a dog owner Yes the Dual coils just screw straight on to your Tornado battery. As Dee says, they hold a fair bit of juice & they give a fantastic vape I'm not well up on the tanks either, heard a fair few mixed reviews of them with quite a few people having problems with them leaking.

the main issue with the tanks is that some of the carts dont seal on the atomiser first time around and also with the user taking the cart off to check the liquid a new design of cart has almost solved this issue you still get a small amount but its only really when you remove the cart and replace but the new carts have a window in them to check ya juice. to me its still a superp product and one which i use every day

I'd go for SC or DC..depending on your vape... Found DC and half dead 14500 batts not agreeable....been on SC since the weekend (clear ones) and love 'em...converted now In fact do C9 do them cos I need to order some more and also some AW batteries? Also get a decent mod...the LG retails for about £33 or £34 on LF (though sometimes they are going 2nd hand) and I have a copy of that and it's a fab vape even on low voltage... Prefer 14500s until I modify some battery boxes from maplin (any ideas what to use guys to cut a 3 AA battery box into a 2? for 18500s?) Then I'll be on 18500s And bet that new doggie is giving you loads of fun and loads of exercise....miss skinny 2011 woo hoo jo

I love Tornado tanks & they work fine with a well charged battery. I always by the LR ones, even tho' I prefer regular 510 atties. Can't comment on the dual core as I've never tried one. If someone wants to send me one to try, then that would be much appreciated

Thanks for all the suggestions!
Have decided to scrap the tank for now and have ordered some XL LR Dual Coil Cartos, they are black though...will try the clear ones next time.
I did consider a mod in the early days but I have a SDmk2 which hardly ever sees the light of day, it's just not as convenient to keep down your cleavage as the Tornado, lol
As for the dog (Maggie...Cairn terrier x) she's the laziest little mutt I've ever met, took her on holiday recently and had to carry her most of the way to the beach in our hold all after she lay on the grass and refused to budge (Paris Hilton I ain't)

If you get one of the cheapo plastic ones (v3 I think is the one - box mod) from LF you'll find it fits ANYWHERE... then you have cheapo batteries all vape long Jo
