I opened mine earlier, only it wasn't one of those wee jars in the ad -
It's a full on catering size plastic tub from Costco.

Doesn't last long in this house

But i wouldn't want to rehome a jar - you never know what might be lurking in it

MMMMmmmmmmm........ I love Marmite, when it was cold and rainy this Sunday Kathy & me thought we'd treat ourselves, so we made cheese on toast with Marmite spread on the top of the cheese, pop under the grill and Bingo!

Im with DiscoDes with this one. Marmite and cheese is incredible. Another is spreading a little marmite on mini cheddars. Oh and marmite and peanut butter on toast. Yum yum.

Well I did it... Just bought a humungeous 500gm jar! The 125gm was £1.75, the 250gm was £2.50, and the 500gm just another 50p @ £3... so a no brainer really.

Have hidden it under the bed just in case the Marmite police come to try and take it away to a better home.

The ad has certainly caused a storm, and probably just what the creators wanted... it even had a discussion slot on the 'The Wright Stuff' on Ch5 this morning. Just like the product itself, the views on both sides were extreme, no middle ground.
