Nice write up Dan One does try One thing I've noticed this morning is that the draw was quite gurgly with the mesh fitted.. removed it, had a few draws, refitted, and its ok.. Have had to replace both fill screws today though.. both had leaked onto my evics! Will have to see how they fare.. Have to be honest, these little things aint half annoying!!!

Dan You could put some PTF tape on the screws to stop the leaking. always good to have PTF tape, very handy stuff

Hi Just rewicked my new kayfun lite and WOW, When I first wicked it following this thread and feeling a bit like Romelee I was not to sure how to do it, so did it in the figure of eight method with 3mm wick but it must have been to thick cause unlike the general opinion that draw was loose, mine was tight. Anyway I ordered some 2mm ekowool and wicked it ala Todds method and I cant believe the change, Its fantastic,no funny taste on a new wick ,just great from draw one. I want,no sorry I need another one now.

Yep, I have a nice little stash of them because they are used in the floating pin on the GGTS, tried them on the kayfun and they're a perfect fit. Just don't forget to lubricate them with juice before you tighten down that screw!

Hey guys, just a quick update. Still rocking the same wick but have stopped using mesh to restrict the airflow.. 2 reasons.. 1. If left for any period of time, the mesh would wick some juice into the air intake which resulted in a gurgly draw.. mesh had to taken out, quick blow through, and replaced by a new piece. 2. Because of having ro remove it, it had to be left protruding out of the air hole to make it easier to get at.. Fugly! ! So, this put me back to finding a solution.. I joined the svoemesto facebook page and asked for a solution. Keith from c9v kindly replied and said that had used the end of the luer lock green tip used for filling the Kayfuns, with good success. Wary at first I tried it with a full length tip and it worked surprisingly well so I took the plunge and cut just enough off so it sat flush when inserted. Took a vape and its just about right.. left it to stand for a few hours and no gurgles.. WINNAH!!! I've now done the same to both attys and reverted back to the original drip tips.. nice tight draw (possibly slightly too tight now lol) lovely flavour, and no burnt liquid hitting my tongue.. Finally!!

Just to put a spoke in the wheels tonight I tried an idea I got of youtube, Its called a micro wick Im sorry I cant put pictures or links on I don't know how, I got a very small drill bit and wound a coil at 10 wraps, keeping it very tight and touching the other raps, then passed cotton wool through coil, cut to edge of juice wells and it vapes very well. I thought with ten wraps it would be high resistance, but came out at 2.2ohms. Give it a try,it works great.
