Super-Shiny Both methods are good but I have settled on method Version 1, slightly less hassle. Make sure you only push the wicks down lightly onto the inner shoulders, do NOT stuff it down hard, or the wicks will block the juice channels. Don`t overfill it, when filling from base, holding the atty @30 degrees (almost horizontal), watch the bubble in the tank, when it almost reaches the top, stop filling, turn upright replace filling screw "tight". Leave for 1 min to allow wicks to soak up juice. Couple of drags on atty, helps prime system. Fit onto mod, select power setting, vape away to a wonderful flavoured vape. Enjoy your Lite.

I don't have the Kayfun Lite but I do have the 3.1ES. I find Keith's (C9V) figure of eight method works superbly for me with 2mm Ekowool. The trick is to have the two loops as small as possible - so that they just touch the shoulder wells and do not block the flow of juice. I normally use 4 wraps of 0.2 Kanthal which works out at 2.2 to 2.4 ohms. I find that ideal on a VV/VW mod. The Kayfun is a fabulous vape!

I had a LOT of trouble getting mine to wick right... At the minute though its working great using the micro coil and cotton method tha greigster posted on this forum (Thanks again) I used .2 kanthal as normal and about 8 or 9 wraps for 1.9ohms Best of luck.. Mine nearly went through the window last week after I used about a metre of wire and wick of all shapes and sizes and configurations and wasted a LOT of juice too. I just couldn't get it right for a long time j

Just found this on UKV, hope the OP (rickfury) doesn't mind me borrowing it.. For those interested, I pulled this from UKV Kayfun Lite Thread
I've just tried this with the tank that was giving me a burnt taste and now it's vaping BRILLIANTLY!!! GVC at it's best!! Another tip.. Try another drip tip! I had the originals on them to begin with but got fed up with hot juice coming with the vapour.. I swapped the KF drip tips with the ones that came with my Dreams (basic plastic jobbies) and the vape is ten times better!! The Dreams seem to be benefiting from the KF tips too..Win win!! Considering I had no end of problems getting this thing working to begin with I can now happily say they put the Dreams to shame!! Bl**dy brilliant!

I have a Kayfun Lite on its way too. Thanks for starting this thread. I think I am going to need all the help I can get. I hope I will be able to manage it.

I do mine as per the Cloud9 video which you posted as version 2, using 2mm ekowool. I have no idea whether that's the best way to do it, as it's the only way I've tried... But it works for me

Super-ShinyRommers, as you can see from the posts, there are as many ways of wicking as there are vapers. I have tried loads of different combinations and for me, I use 1 piece of straight 3mm Ekowool and do 4 wraps of .20 Kanthal which comes out at 1.9ohms. Once the connections are screwed down, I bend the Kanthal down and trim it so it just touches the shoulder and repeat with the other end so I end up with single strand of 3mm.Eko in an upside down "U" shape, then just pinch the Eko to enable me to slide on the inner SS tube, soak the wick with juice and pop on the chimney for a trial vape before finishing the rebuild and for me the jobs a good un. Although now I have stripped it for these photos, I will rebuild it using 8 or 9 wraps of .30 Kanthal and slide in some cotton wool, again with just enough wool to reach the shoulder above the juice channels.

That almost sounds like the way i wick a Evod, very simple indeed, i ain't got my Kayfun yet but i thought the end of the wicks needed to be close to the chambers, if that's not the case than your version looks and sounds a doddle

As hopefully you can see, the wick only needs to be touching the top of the shoulder as when the inner tube is screwed on, the Eko, which naturally splays its fibres at the ends will soak up any juice that comes up the juice channel. The worst thing you can do is have too much wick, due to its chances of blocking/obstructing the juice channels cos that is when you will get dry hits.
