I can only speak from my own experience Karma and I've not tried that kit you've linked to but I still use my Jacvapour kit on occasion (mainly when I need to be discreet) and the cartos even with the pitiful little battery beat the 510 boges used with a spinner hands down, they may have a different thread but they are very responsive for the size. I presume you mean on discrete appearance Dreamy as you surely can't mean on performance. If you do then you don't have the Spinner at the right voltage for the resistance of cartos you have. My two cents for what it's worth fruees . . . avoid anything with an 808 thread like the plague, it's a costly pain in the proverbial to get spares. I realize you're determined to go for a cig alike, which you'll probably end up regretting when you compare the better vaping experience you'll get from something bigger. But like many things in this life, you have to satisfy yourself. Good luck with whatever you do decide to buy. Actually no - don't get me wrong I would never swap my spinner and a decent clearo (mini pro tank or a Davide being my weapons of choice currently) for any kind of carto set up the 510 cartomisers I have do not give the same performance from any of my ego type batteries (egos, a spinner, an ego VV and an itaste mini) as the V1P kit manage from their little batteries - either in taste or vapour. The carto's that got with this kit are really very good for their size, don't expect the performance you get from a decent clearo but they really work very well for the size. furees - if you are happy to live with the bigger size, I'd skip the step you are suggesting and move straight to a VV set up - they aren't a huge amount bigger and the difference you get in performance is pretty much night and day. The only use my 650 egos get these days are backups and to dry burn my clearomisers - whilst the V1P is the stealth kit and the spinners normal service. I'd go with a pair of these: www.ukecigcabin.com/product/spinner-1100Pair of these: www.ukecigcabin.com/product/mini-protankOh and don't forget this as pretty essential www.ukecigcabin.com/product/ego-riva-usb-charger-lead(Note you may well be able to get this stuff cheaper elsewhere - ukecigcabin are well priced normally and reliable - hence the recommendation) Juice wise you can't go wrong getting a 5 pack selection from here: www.thealchemistscupboard.co.uk/product/5x10ml%20samplesI'd recommend at least one bottle of the vodka and lime which is amazing...

Hi guys, thank you for all the help.
I eventually purchased the build that I listed in my last post, plus a small 5ml bottle of juice and a needle filler. That came to £30 including next day delivery. I then bought 2 of the 10ml XO juices from Liberty Flights which was another £10.
So total outlay has been up there! £40 for this stuff and another £30 or so on the E-Lites. I'm sure that a lot of you are thinking "what a bloody waste of money" but I suppose that I had to experience this for myself and learn these lessons. I would have spent just as much on 5 E-lite refills anyway...
Karma - I went with my more expensive build because e quality gave me piece of mind. I have (what I understand to be) purchased as good a cig-a-like config as you can get. The kit you linked to I must say doesn't fill me with confidence (ie warning in exploding batteries!). You normally get what you pay for and if I am going to be burning and inhaling, I want to get as good as poss. Thanks for the advice though
Djs (and others) - you are both so right about the E-lites. I now see them for the stepping stone that they really are? Glad I tried them as an intro but wish I didn't spend so much on them (d'oh!)? Thanks for the guidance
My goals - I am not a mega smoker by any stretch of the imagination. I don't go for fag breaks at work - I only smoke before, after and on a night out. I would probably go through a small pack of golden V In a week. I therefore don't think that I will notice much of a saving (will probs end up spending more), however for me it's a health thing (with a view to eventually giving up). That's why I didn't go for the lovely looking Mini Protank, as I thought that it would just encourage me to get more hooked on nicotine.
I now want to work out how to economise on this. I can get by on one battery for the time being, however I need to find a good source of juice that is cheap. I am v aware at this is an unregulated market so I'm not going to just go for the cheapest juice at I find, however if anyone has a particular favourite and cheap suggestion, please let me know.
I am looking forward to when the bits arrive at work tomorrow so that I experience a better quality vale (I hope!!!) than my E-Lites. I know that I will really feel like I have triumphed when I next go out and puff on my lovely e-cig as opposed to all the others puffing on their cigarettes!
I will post tomorrow and let you know my impressions of the kit! Good evening all

I love those little tags, what a great morale booster!

I will post tomorrow and let you know my impressions of the kit! Good evening all Glad you got yourself sorted, & hope it works well for you. , but I really do have to pull you up on a couple of things though: - 1 - Karma most certainly would not have linked you to any kit she thought to be dangerous
- Any lithium battery has the possibility of explosion/fire - including the ones in your mobile phone or laptop
- 2 - You paid good money for your e-lites. Further to your experience with them and the comments recieved here, do you think 'you got what you paid for'?
- 3 - Burning? Sorry, what is burning? This is one of the main problems that the 'anti-e-cig' brigade have - they still believe something is burning, and smoke is being produced. Nothing is burnt and no smoke is produced.
- 4 - The e-cig market, including juice is FAR from being unregulated - in fact I believe you will find that vaping equipment and juice is covered by no less than 17 different government regulations.
Sorry if I've come across harshly, but these 4 things are the kind of mindless drivel we are getting from the likes of uninformed MPs/MEPs, MHRA, BMA, NHS, train companies, the list goes on, in their endeavours to stop us vaping. However, I really do wish you the best of luck in kicking the stinkies - you've certainly come to the right place for help. Do keep us posted on how you're doing, & please, don't let me have put you off asking for further advice

fruees , fred is right, there is no way that Karma would have linked you to any kit she thought to be dangerous. However, the Riva kit from Vape escape you have gone for (?) is a good kit & will knock the spots off your over priced, under performing e-lite

Chrissie - I initially thought the same as you, but I think it's just the boge cartos she's got, along with the 320mah esmart(?) batteries - (the non-exploding ones). Still think the pcc Karma linked or the paradise-vape blister pack would've been much better value, but there you go

I'm sure that a lot of you are thinking "what a bloody waste of money" but I suppose that I had to experience this for myself and learn these lessons. I would have spent just as much on 5 E-lite refills anyway... Not at all. I spend comfortably into 3 figures on E-Lites then £45 on JacVapour products then £40 on a Riva kit. It is not cheap to get started, especially if you start off with rip-off nonsense (not the JacVapour....I wouldn't say that). A lot of people get cross with me and my anti E-Lites stance, but I only ever smoked less than 1 packet a day, then switched to roll ups (15 at most) and could not kick the habit with these pernicious products. Once you are up and running, it can be very inexpensive. If you like "liqua" e-liquid, you can even order it from China for £3.50 for 30ml. I don't like it enough, although the grape is growing on me. Good luck.

You can let us know about the Esmart. I was talking to Jason about it only a couple of weeks ago. Somewhere in between a mini and an eGo battery. They did look good in the display cabinet, I must say. Your top link? was that for a Riva kit or boge cartomisers?
