All my stuff arrived today - the gear from VapeEscape (and a small bottle of juice) and 2 XO juices from Liberty Flights.

How have you got on using it?

Battery and Cartomizers: As you can see, the battery is a bit wider than the cartomizers. I wasnt expecting this however it isnt a problem at all. The battery came charged and turns on by pressing 5 times. Coming from E-Lites, i wasnt used to having to hold down a button to vape, however this isnt a problem at all and presumably prevents unwanted power drainage.

USB Charger: This charger was actually black and unbranded whereas on the VapeEscape website it was white with an Esmart logo. I have contacted VapeEscape and asked for an official one - a bit picky but i want what i ordered and the piece of mind that it's official. We will see how they respond....(i will let you know)

Rest: Liquids as you would expect. I also got a needle filler just in case but i dont think that i will need it with these cartomizers

How it went:

I had read up on how to do everything beforehand (mainly on this thread - thanks kind people). There is a really good youtube video where an admin from another site shows you how to first time fill the Boge 501 cartomizers.

First Cartomizer: I followed the instruction and filled with the condom method from the bottom up. The guy on the video says to fill the longer condom slightly above half. I did this but i didnt manage to use all the juice before it seemed to not absorb any more. I thought "oh well" and plugged it in for my first vape! the first vape was great, lots of smoke and a lot stronger hit that E-Lites! However, the cartomizer started to make a loud fizzing/spitting sound. i stopped, re attached it, but it still made the sound and loudly. I then held my finger on the power button without toking and the loud fizzing started immediately. I threw that cartomizer away, just to be safe!

2nd Cartomizer: Filled it in the same way. This time it looked as if it took most of the juice. I plugged it in and it was a great vape! less fizzing/spitting (although still there) which made me more comfortable. Furthermore, when i held my finger on the power without toking, there was a gradual build up to the fizzing noise (as opposed to the first one which was loud immediately)

Some fizzle, some snap crackle and pop, nothing to worry about, it's the sound of a healthy cartomizer

I decided to crack open a third Cartomizer and fill it with some of the LF XO RY44KK (bag on the left). had a vape with this - it was nice, however i think that i got a stronger hit from the Vape Escape Delux juice (on the right). They are both nice and i presume that the LF juice will get better as it matures (i think that they make them fresh - presume that VapeEscape ones arent fresh).

I haven't opened the XO Deluxe TObacco (middle bottle) yet.

Storage:

I decided to keep everything seperate.

Bag on the left: contains the needle filler, RY4K juice and a cart that i filled with the LF RY4K juice. I put one of the condoms on the end for storage, not sure if that will do anything??

Bag in the middle: the unopened XO juice with the remaining 2 unopened cartomixers.

Bag on the right: Vape Escape juice and the condoms from the Cart that i am using

So, Thoughts:

1. wow, this is much nicer than the E-Lites! Much more vapour than the E-Lites, nicer throat hit and most importantly, I know what i am putting in there and it is re-usable!!

2. The battery feels quality. As do the cartomizers. Very happy with the choice and also how they look together (even if the battery bulges out a bit). The power button on the battery has a white LED that glows when you push it down and fades when you take your finger off. There is no light at the end which i quite like (green lights on the E-Lites look so stupid)

3. The juice tastes nice! i am looking forward to try the other one, however i will use these up first!

4. Overall i am very happy with this setup! I am v glad that i didnt go for anything bigger - this is just the right size for me at home or out. The hit is also easily robust enough for my needs and i am glad that i didnt get a Protank.

Now, finally some questions:

1. I am still paranoid about whether i will know when the juice has run out in a cart. I know that people say that there is a burning taste, but is it really noticeable? i have tobacco flavours so it isnt as if there will be a huge contrast between the normal taste and burnt taste.
Will it really be that noticeable? will i see less vapor when it runs out? really paranoid about this.

2. Roughly, how many times can i re-fill these cartomizers? i know that you can wash them etc but cant really be assed for that. Any rough guidelines (ie 5-6 refills) would be really appreciated.

3. What do people suggest that i do with all my E-Lite gear? I have 2 batteries and about 4 empty cartomizers, plus the charger. would be a shame to chuck them but i guess thats what i have to do.

Romelee - thanks! maybe i shouldnt have thrown it away, but the noise was noticeably loud!

I think tha ti will get a few automatic batteries or maybe another E-Smart one

Good to hear you're enjoying your purchases Fruee's . . . never say never though as you may want to try something different in the future.

I'd get that cartomiser out of the bin, as Rom says that noise is perfectly normal . . . the sign of a healthy cartomiser, it will peak off once the cart starts to fade, as a rough guide after it's had about 10ml through it.

You will taste it, it's nothing alarming, as soon as you taste a kinda icky burnt taste STOP vaping and re-fill

Re-fills don't really come into it, It's how long they last before they taste icky after a re-fill, they normally can last upto a week, all depends on how much you use it

Hello there! I was in the exact same predicament as you.

I purchased a Tornado RCS Kit, they're on sale now for £38 off (meant to be fifty quid) from totally wicked. It has a tank and the flavour is so much better, battery goes all day with constant use! The only thing is, it doesn't look like a ciggy at all but if you get one and give it a whirl you'll never look back!

With my e-lite I used to have to insert a screw into the mouthpiece/carton top that's white plastic & drip my e-liquid into the cotton/foam. It was okay for a while but the elements get burnt out. It's more cost effective to splash out on a vaping device than keep with those e-lite style things. I hope I haven't come across as rude, the e-lites are good for what they are
