Hi Fruees & I bought an ecig kit that looked like a normal fag in March this year, i cut straight down to just 4 fags each day using a clearomiser & 12mg liquid (juice) but as time went on it got harder to stick to the four daily. The first bit of stress i had i just packed the ecig in & smoked normally for a fortnight, then i stumbled upon this forum & its the best thing i ever did the lovely helpful peeps on here advised my to give up the cigalike i had & get mtself a Riva 1100 deluxe kit & some 18mg juice (i smoked roughly 10-15 Regal king size daily, if you was on more than this you will probably need stronger than 18mg) they put me some links on for Vape Escape & Ukecig cabin. I went for the Ukecig cabin version because it had 2 clearomisers with it (the other had a cartomiser & a clearomiser) & ukecig cabin came with a 10ml bottle of juice too. I set my date to stop smoking & had my last 'normal' fag on 19th May & have not had a smoke since, i have not had any cravings since that day & have not missed the fags at all, i would never have done it with the cigalike, but it is so easy with the Riva kit, you will need 2 of each as you need a spare while one is charging & never charge them overnight or when going out as they have been known to explode. You will never get a true tobacco taste so pick juices that you think you will like but not in large quantities, JooseJuice sell 10ml bottles for £1-49 & are quite nice, i use LT ecigs juices too, there is lots to choose from & don't forget discount codes they are on vendors list in our beginners section. Good luck

frueesI don't know much about e-lites but if they're G9 batteries they should take an RN4081 carto. E-Lites G9 battery type is a RN4081 connector If that's the case you can pick up pre-filled cartomisers from Liberro at 5 for £5 - which is a pretty good deal. And they're re-fillable. Edit: Personally I think it's fine to use a cigalike if that's what you're comfortable with and it's keeping you off the stinkies. But like others are saying, I think you'll soon want to move on to something better than e-lites.

Hello & welcome to the forum, fruees. Well done on pubbing it & not smoking, that's great. The one thing about e-lites, they at least get you started, then get you looking around the net. I can't add anything to what the good folk on here have already given you pointers to. Which is easy to use, but better gear, that will really improve your vaping experience.

Giles, I like the idea of those replacement cartomizers that work with the e-lite batteries. I can safely say they will NOT work. Some confusion...sorry both.

Have to agree with everyone, most of us started with a cig alike and then progressed. Why not try the ego blister pack from paradisevapeuk ( sorry couldn't get the link to work but someone will ) its only £7-£8. You could always use it for indoors to start with and take your cig a likes out. It won't be long though when you see the difference before your cig a like is confined to the drawer. on your achievements so far

I got their cartomisers from the bargain basement and they were all rubbish. Some had leaked during transit, the others lasted a few puffs and burnt, I would not advise this set at all

I see that, I only tried the cartomisers from it, and as it was cheaper than chips ok, but for a newbie when something doesn't work it could be the end to vaping, so that is why I couldn't recommend it. A newbie asking for advice on here, wants something better than they have got, something that will stop them turning to traditional ciggies because it has all gone wrong . It may not have gone fantastically wrong but a blip is enough to tip some over the edge.

It may not have gone fantastically wrong but a blip is enough to tip some over the edge. I have the PCC kit. It lives in my handbag as a back up, and works perfectly. It's also useful to show smokers as it's not quite as frightening as a bigger battery set up. Many new vapers want something cig sized for out and about, I still, under certain circumstances, use cig-a-likes I'm pretty sure the cartos you bought Sammy would have been the Neat Cig ones, so nothing to do with this kit although they are compatible. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with them, others, including myself bought them and thought they were a fantastic bargain and had no problems! fruees the pcc kit I linked to is the most common 510 fitting, so if you were interested we could help you find the best deal at the moment for cartos that would fit!

Hello & welcome frueesI think Giles has got mixed up with e-lites & sky cigs. djs is right, the cartomisers that Giles linked to will not fir an e-lite.
