We did look at that before VM . . . but sadly there's no way the forum content can be transferred, so we'd lose everything.

No way of getting a data base back up?
If it all protected with ProBoards?

As far as I know it's protected/backed up by Proboards VM, although again Chrissie will confirm if this is so . . . we'd probably have migrated elsewhere a while back had it been at all doable.

We just couldn't afford to lose all the knowledge and content of what we've all spent a long time gathering and sharing on here though.

I haven't asked myself, -V- but other proboard forum founders have done so on Proboard Support & the answer is always that it's not possible.
