How much Juice would you go through in a day? normal useage.

Hi.

Because I'm new to vaping. not  converted to full time vaping yet. I have replaced afew cigarettes a day with vaping instead. normaly while watching Tv and driving to work..
Work = ( is a new job)  I cant vape while working (aww). so at break time have to go outside anyway. one stinky each break and  lunch used to have 2 stinkys now only have one then vape the rest of the break.
I know I know abit poor really.

when driving only having one then vape the rest of the way to and from work. (30min journey each way). Again used to have 2-3 stinkys
then when I'm home don't have a stinky till bedtime.. so cut out about 3 in the evening..

I do think this is good really. and can only get better the more I vape rather then smoke.

so my question is:- how much Juice will I expect to go through when I completely convert to vaping. I've read afew bits that have said that it's normal to vape 2ml to 3ml per day. is this about right, I'm only going through one tank 1.2ml per day at the moment. I'm also tending to chain vape . is this normal at the beginning?

I would say I've cut out about 6 cigs a day from 10- 14 a day. which is great really, saveing me about £2 per day. £724 over the year. Fantastic. and when it's put like that, it makes me feel I'm really doing well and I can see what differents it is making on my life vaping not smoking..

I will be cutting more cigs out in time and vape more.  It doesn't help that my other half is a full time smoker, I bought him a ce5 too but he doesn't have any confidents to use in public yet. trying to get him to vape while watching tv in the evening is falling on deaf ears.  we never smoked in the house anyway, so he's getting lonely going for one on his own,, plus it's making him notice how many he smokes in the evening.

anyway it's turning out to be a book at this rate.

Congrats, sounds like your enjoying getting into vaping.
I talk to lots of couples where one starts and then the other follows on behind, its often the slightly reluctant
partner who becomes the most enthusiastic. The main thing is that you you can lead a horse to water
but you cant force a smoker to quit - its up to them to decide.

Average daily usage? I could tell you, but its different for everyone. the nic level and device make a big
difference. With vaping you can decide to use a low nic level and have it hanging out of your mouth from
the moment you wake up, or you might prefer high strength hits at intervals. It one of the great things
about vaping - you get to choose how you want to use it.

How much juice is a difficult question, but given your detailed introduction someone here should be able to help.
I believe it also depends on the juice holder , that's my new name for it ( ce4, evod, clearo etc )
Some as in the I-clear drink the juice before you use it.
At the end of the day, once you have the kit that is right for you you will save money and save your health.

I have afew CE5's. 1.6ml tank
the jucie I get is 18mg nic. I did think if I should try the 24mg nic. may stop me chain vaping.
I wish I could vape while working cos I do think it would stop me going out for one (habit really, time to relax).
maybe in time when they get to know me.

Hi wisher, and welcome to the forum. Sounds like you've made a good start with your vaping!
I would agree with MarkM it's is so difficult to say what the average consumption is, what with different types of tank, battery strength and the nic levels of your juice.
Sounds to me as if you might get more success if you temporarily upped the nic strength of your juice. Try 24mg - it might just give you the hit you are looking for, and help you cut out the other ciggies you are having in the course of a day.
My OH is a smoker, only about 6 per day, and most of those in the evenings like your OH. I've been vaping nearly 11 months now and I still haven't managed to convert her, it's just a matter of time I think.

Hi!

It sounds like you are doing well; getting rid of the tobacco smokes is a tough transition. However, one day, you'll just take the leap of faith, not smoke, vape instead, and then that's it.

If you are chain vaping, you should try some stronger juice even if just for a short while.

2-3ml is probably average, sure, but that doesn't mean that's right for you. I don't vape anywhere near that much because I just put the bloomin thing down and puff it as little as possible.

There are no rights or wrongs, but I would safely say that once people settle down, they probably tend to vape a little more and use less/lower nicotine.
Also, if you go down to zero fags, I expect you might well go up from 1.2ml a day.

This totally depends on which juice I am vaping and on what device but, I vape around 2.5 to 3.0ml a day.

On a normal day i vape just 1.6 ml (evod) but if i go out for a drink 2-3ml

My juice consumption has remained about the same since starting to vape, roughly 3 to 4 ml per day.

My nic has decreased during this period though, I started on 18mg and now vape 8mg or 10mg depending on the vendor.

If I manage to get down to 4mg then I should beat the proposed regulation.
