Vaping causes immigration to rise, house prices to fall and the whole country to go to the dogs - Don't worry, they'll be back on form next week.

I have been contacting media with offers of help into understanding the myriad of products on the market. Only one person ever expressed any kind of interest in items that weren't nicolites or skycig. Mostly, people don't give a shit. Everybody is using cig a likes and as all the review sites have testimony from people going from 2 packs of B&H to one crappy cartomiser in just 1 day, then why does anybody need to know any different? If the internet says it's true, it's true. I tell you; it makes me sooo mad. E-lites and skycig are just lapping up multiple millions of pounds a year, all of which increases their "belief" they are actually selling a good product. They're all finished anyway in 2016. No cig-a-like (in it's current state) is going to get through the MHRA approval, as they have to prove "efficacy". If E-Lites were so effective, they'd have been an alternative to my smoking....which they weren't. In fact, if these white plastic placebo sticks actually worked, there would be no AAEC. I've already heard it suggested that the cig-a-likes are going to need to have 45mg minimum to stand a scientific chance of passing. BUT these shysters won't want to do this, as 2x strong juice means people buy less cartomisers..... Basically, they sell non effective junk, and we have to "applaud" them because they are spending money on fighting our corner? Give me a bucket. Sorry.

The Vype is pretty potent (I think the high one is 45mg! ) But that's probably because the battery is crap and only lasts an hour so it fills you with enough nic to be able to get to the shops and buy more.

Actually, the highest Vype has 18.6mg in the cartomiser and they claim you can get 60% of that before it's ready for the bin.
That means 11mg for £6.99 and that's not even the yield. The yield is possibly only 4 or 5 mg. That's like 5 "proper" fags.
Depressing.

Here goes: "In the shadow of Big Pharma: Why e-cigarette users defy legislationhope that works ??? forums are really not my strong point! just thought it was nice to have someone in our corner.

You're right. I could have sworn on VTTV they said it was 45mg? Njoy are doing a 45mg one, I think. That's more like it. I can't believe one of the godfathers of the tobacco industry have put all this effort into an 18mg disposable. Do they not have people working for them with the basic skills - "does this product provide the nicotine we say it does?" Let me just make an assumption here. If I am getting 20-25mg a day from smoking cigarettes, and that is a long-term habit, going down to half of that (or maybe even a 1/4) is going to make me into a nicotine craving zombie. To "match" the nicotine level of my smoking with a BAT Vype e-cig is going to require that I use 2, maybe 3 a day. That's basically going to be chain vaping as well. 2 and a half "Vypes" @ £6.99 is £6375 per year. - - - Now, when you buy cigarettes, the shop makes a little and the government takes over 75%. This means the tobacco company makes under £2. Now, if e-cig users buy a "Vype" the tobacco company makes much more. Could be as much as £4. THAT is why they are getting into e-cigs and that is why they won't go with 45mg cartomisers. For the same reason; Nicolites, Skycig, E-Lites and 10 motives keep the nicotine down (so as not to seem complete rip-off merchants and spoil their own customer base and reputation). They are relying on people adding up up the nicotine in the their pack of 20 and thinking "oooh, I get more or less the same from my cartomiser." It's a fundamentally flawed product. They are fully in the knowledge that the products are under strength in terms of nicotine yield, but if it means people buy more "refills" and think the problem is "theirs" (not in the product shortcomings) they can march on, make millions and be seen to be honest and decent. It's all about the profit, it was never about giving people a genuine alternative. They are all doomed come 2016 anyway. Of that, there can be no doubt. When Mr Mean says there are no products currently good enough, he is partly talking about nicotine delivery and efficacy. Then, Mr plastic placebo stick millionaire, it's time for you to retire. Good riddance. - - - At least you have to partly admire Totally Wicked on this. They know a pack a day habit is going to require more than a couple of expensive cartomisers.
