Has anyone tried the Stevia extract, the first ebay link in the sweeteners sticky www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Error?errid=5&item=Stevia-extract....89&cmd=ViewItem is saying removed or unavailable & the second link is just coming up with liquid extract. I was looking for the powdered form but if the extract's OK I'll try some, don't really use a lot of sweetener & the Eythl Maltol has to much of a candy floss flavour for me.

Thanks for that Perps, the EM was very strong on candy floss flavour IMO, maybe cos I got the crystals & I could smell it as soon as I opened the bottle, I only need a wee bit of sweetness every now & again so TPA it is & wait for the stevia powder . . . anyone use the stevia when it's mixed as a sweetener in drinks do we know, if I'm going to buy the powder it'll probably last me for ages & if I can use it instead of the sweetener tabs in my tea all the better.

I'm sure I remember reading that a couple of Members do 4mad, they may be diabetic that's why . . . don't ask me who though, my memory is appalling thesedays.

I know, I'm sure I remember someone mentioning a specific number of drops equivalent to a teaspoon of sugar a long while ago, but I can't remember if it was stevia, EM or something else . . . . I was really hoping you'd remember cos I got no chance

Heya, I'm actually working for the company that makes Stevia products in powder and tablet form ^^ (http://www.cargillfoods.com/na/en/products/sweeteners/specialty-sweeteners/truvia/) You can buy the stuff here in Belgium in powder, tablet or liquid form. Tastes way sweeter than anything else you've ever tried but some say it's almost too sweet. It seems you can buy it at tesco truvia.co.uk/about/where_to_buy/

Oh and yes, stevia or that truvia we make and sell can be put into anything you like. Your tea, coffee, juice, cake, it can basically "replace" sugar in whatever it is you are trying to make. (guess you will have to do some experimenting with the quantities)
