How very lucky are we?

I asked for some advice last week regarding 510 connectors that I could use for holding my atties in place on a Mod/Attie stand that I am making.

Not only did I receive some good advice, but a member on here was happy to machine 8 quality heavy duty SS connectors for me, post them by recorded delivery and when I asked how much I owed him, he refused payment.

There are many examples of members both here and UKV, who put themselves out to help others

I wish all the world was like an Ecig forum.

Yep... This forum (and others, I've no doubt) is a microcosm of the world, but with a greater percentage of 'good' people for some reason. We all have a shared interest, we all have problems (not just vaping), but the vast majority here want to 'help' where they can. I really do treat it as my 'home' in a virtual world, and one that is safe, unlike some 'top of the range' social media sites.

I know my backside is being protected, and if I step out of line, I'll get a nudge. To the members here... Thankyou.

You are spot on Perps, it is acts of kindness by our fellow members that make this site what it is,..............well that and the work put in by the office staff , and even when a little bumpy patch occurs, things are soon forgotten and all is well again.

In all honesty the community is one of the reasons I enjoy vaping so much. I am on a few forums and there's so much sniping and back biting that just does not happen here.

Mods on other forums are usually power tripping and very rarely involved in actual forum activity. Which is he exact opposite here.

Everyone is helpful, supportive and kind and its just bloody great.

It does have it's disadvantages though... a few minutes ago I put on some scrambled eggs for supper.. came back here to check on any new topics, got distracted, and went back into the kitchen to find a souffle coming over the top of the pan!

Scrambled eggs are for us more common folk Raffles, from your avatar and forum name, a soufflé would appear much more fitting

I did... in fact it tasted better than normal, with waffles. Will try that again!

   but that made me laugh, still many people can't make souffle and you did it by accident
