Hi just a question can vaping play havoc with our taste buds ? Am I vaping way too much

how much are you vaping and at what strength? Also, What flavors?.... Flavors like clove can dull your taste buds for a short while.

Smoking does that's for sure Angie, so when your tast buds recover you may find yourself vaping more as the flavours just taste so nice to you.

It's never possible to vape too much as far as I'm concerned, providing you're not feeling light headed or a bit dizzy and keeping well hydrated, then carry on enjoying your vapes.

It certainly can Angie. What juice I liked in the beginning I can't stand now, I had many times when the old taste buds went AWOL ...couldn't taste a thing. Very frustrating I remember. As for vaping too much, as most on here will know I use my ecig like a dummie, hardly ever without it stuck in my mouth!! But do I care? No I don't, I love my "habit", I love the fact that I can call on the people on this forum for help on anything. All in all,finding this forum, taking up vaping and ditching the stinkie was a very smart move. Don't worry about vaping too much...enjoy it

Also bear in mind that if you recently stopped smoking then that could be it.

You are used to tastes adjusted by acrid smoke so it takes time to re learn flavours.

It plays havoc with my taste buds too, but in a good way...Custard...Custard...Custard...Oh and more Custard

p.s Don't worry about the havoc taste bud thing, it will all fall in place soon and a whole new army of taste buds will come along waiting to taste all the delights you can throw at them

Ahhh thanks guys I am vaping 24mg gold and silver from really. At weekends vaping all the time he he he yes like a pacifier although weekdays only in morning and eve cos of work ....I am chained to the desk grrrrr I will carry on but will try some diff flavours see if I can awaken my taste

Menthol usually wakes any taste buds up, or completely numbs them so all you can taste is the menthol.

angie, just keep making sure you drink enough to keep up with the vaping...else you'll dry your mouth & throat. Perfect excuse in my book for more coffee
