Postie has just been and he put a card through the door. I thought it was because I was out the back grinding some carto's (you don't want to know) and hadn't heard him. So I grabbed the card and trotted off down the street to where he's parked, turns out I have a parcel with underpaid postage? Trot back to the house to fetch the £1.09 outstanding and then back to the van like a good little vaper. This is what makes it a sucky vape mail day: The underpaid postage is £0.09, the other pound is a 'handling' fee! He wouldn't accept £1.10, has to be the right money! I went back to the house to get 9p instead of 10p and it turns out he doesn't even have the parcel with him! Now I have to wait until tomorrow for parcel and I won't be here  PO'd at the P.O.  |

Reminds me of the time I paid a £20 customs charge, for a £20 order which turned out to be the wrong stuff, and the Chinese vendor just kept sending me fobbing off replies with "hope you understand" tacked on at the end... One day I will cease to be pissed off, but that day is not today  |

Let's hope not eh sue1952, I've killed for less I won't find out till I'm on the road tomorrow, will have to wait and see what turns up. Not sure if I have the courage to ask Wife to open it in my absence. |

I can kinda deal with the 1 pence discrepancy
(I cant really as i think its bloody stupid )
What i could nt have dealt with is him playing the jobsworth then telling you he did nt have the parcel after trying to appease him
