thanks giles. i have to admit i dont like carto's by themself but from what ive seen so far with my SMOK DCT the carto tanks are pretty damn good. ill have a look at the dual coil clearos i just feel a bit uncomfortable with that much heat at the top of the tank right near my mouth, or is that me just being over cautious?

Hello jordan and welcome to the forum, what in gods name are you vaping in your avatar?!!
I must have had 20+ deliveries fron FT and like most on here I've never ever had a problem and as you realise their prices are pretty unbeatable, they do sell some utter tat as well though but as long as you're selective in what you buy you should have a good experience. I've got a couple of those VV ego batteries off them and after 4 months they're still going strong which I great considering I thought they'd last a couple of months!

And the Vamo is a brill first mod and stonking value with the nitecore charger and those batteries, if you buy one make sure it's the stainless steel one not chrome which comes off with use. My tip for you would be to try a bottom coil clearo next such as the Evod or even better protank, you can get both from FT as well, the Evods aren't genuine so I'd only buy one to see what you think first, The difference they make to the flavour is remarkable though

Thanks for the tip with the vamo colour. And since you just got back off holiday I will excuse you for not reading that I got an evod in my bundle of new toys =p I agree the flavour is amazing on them right out of the box

I used the top dual coil, iclear 30, and have not found it a problem being near my mouth heat wise. The bottom coils give a cooler, smoother vape and the top coil gave me a much warmer vape, which I personally prefer. I think it's horses for courses really, just a case of preference. I know evods and pro tanks have been recommended but dreamylittledream got a Davide recently and he loves it.

Yes, that is you being over cautious. But if it is likely to make you nervous, get an iclear, which comes with a steel drip tip. You'll feel that the tip stays cold, which should give you some reassurance.
