Sweating?

Does anyone find smoking an ecig makes them sweat? 

I'm finding I sweat from my face 

I've got some VG on order cos I think I'm having allergic reactions to the PG ... well I have a 20pg/80vg on order ... but just wondering if anyone else had this happen to them?

Have you recently quit smoking the stinkies?

I never had facial sweats but I know when I was first getting used to smoking my ecig (I quit tobacco and jumped into vaping without a transition it was literally a case of when my ecig arrived I threw out my tobacco) I had a really bad case of dry mouth and it made the back of my throat itch. From looking into it as your body gets rid of the chemicals you are used to in the stinkies you can have many weird and wonderful side affects.

Hopefully VG works better for you, Personally I find anything over 30% VG too thick and it feels like it coats my throat, but my partner is absolutely fine with more VG.

Hi claire, it could be the PG.

You also need to bear in mind that if you have stopped smoking there can be some pretty interesting withdrawal symptoms.

I don't eat anymore now than when I smoked and I vape like a train all day, but I've still put on 2 stone in 10 months!

Thinking about it I do remember feeling cold for about 3 weeks after binning the stinkies.

No .. I packed in smoking a year and a half ago .. It was a hellish year and a half, I bought some baccy but couldn't smoke it, so went for an ecig .. but I'm feeling achey and sweaty off it :/

hopefully the VG will do the trick or I'm back to nothing again ... which means depression, more weight gain etc etc

Honestly, if I could turn back time, I'd never have packed in smoking

Hi Claire i put a thread on a few weeks ago titled excessive sweating have a look at that, it drives me nuts & when it starts it takes me about 45 minutes to cool down, mine starts on my face too

On the + side though i have not put any weight on in fact i'm losing it steadily

Maybe cutting back on the amount of nicotine or vaping a bit less might help. I've found if I vape a bit too much I start feeling hot

yep it worked ... will think about dropping the nicotine level too now

did the doc sort your problem out ... did they get it right and it wasn't the ecig?

I didn't mention the vaping as i wanted to see if it was anything else that could be causing it, you know how they are they would probably have said it was the vaping because they don't know enough about it, she reduced the beta blockers medication but also said i am borderline diabetic & the sweating happens in the run up to diabetes so i will see when i have my next blood test.
If you find out if its the PG in juices would you let me know please.
