I had a look in my local Maplin store the other day and the cheapest set of leads was around £6, add to that £3 for parts, £1 for UK P+P, so that's already £10 for leads only. Add in some electricity, solder, heat shrink, fuel to mail them....... It would actually cost me money to make them that way.

Anyway Mev has put me onto some cheaper component suppliers so I am now able to offer the leads only for £8 delivered UK

That's cool mate.

It's not a money making exercise for me as I only bank about £2 per unit anyway and it takes me about half an hour to make each one.

I've no problem with people taking the idea and running with it, hopefully improving on the initial idea.

If you get stuck feel free to give me a shout.
