Super-Shiny, congratulations to you both. wishing you all the very best and a wonderful future together (gushing, i'm an old romantic at heart). after years of proposing she finally agreed and i was hoping to have a nice quiet wedding but was surprised by my good lady who had other plans, she went to the registrars office and changed the date! i got married on a carnival float dressed as the Mad hatter with only an hours notice. Certainly a day i'll never forget and some cracking photo's too. So a word of warning make sure you keep an eye on the dates and arrangements , mind you i can never forget our anniversary and i don't have to arrange a party either as we have it on the carnival float

Well that was easy, first hurdle done, just answered some questions signed my life away and now the certificate thingy is on display at the town hall for two weeks to see if anyone disapproves of the wedding.

Might pay someone to go in there and disagree with it

The lady showed us the room we are to marry in, OMG she was bigging it up, all i was thinking is "It's a room with chairs, why such the big story"

She gave us a book telling us about what happens and what we have to say to each other at the wedding...i could not stop giggling with the part "I give this ring as a token of my love"

The woman was not amused at my giggling

Don't think she liked me, little did i know that there is a 90% chance it will be her doing the wedding

I've often wondered how many weddings are met with 'objections' and what the reasons are. ???  How much are you willing to pay Rom?

Congrats Romelee is she marrying you because she knows you make awesome eliquid recipes? Will she now try and keep them a family secret? If so DO NOT GET MARRIED (I'd have no insperation)
