Thank you very much Karma and jordan. It's best I check my understanding before I rush in isn't it? I must be getting on yer nerves by now, sorry. So if I am a 70/30 pg/vg vaper I get a bit confused as to which nic base I would be best to use pg or vg nic base? I can't get the ejuice calculator as I have no pc you see, just a pad. So does that programme ask you if your nic base is pg or vg based? Does that effect everything depending on which it is? I have got an POTV calculator but am not sure where or if it asks pg or vg based nic you see. Just to update it does say pg or vg base, I can see it now.

If you favour a heavier PG ratio then it's best to buy PG based nicotine. If you want to use my lazy method then 50/50 mix from LT in 26mg would be fine since you can cut it down with pg and the flavourings are pg based as well.

Thanks jordan so best to buy PGnic, I think I will do that tbh. Karma so if I used @romlee 's liccy baccy recipe on the recipe board I got this using the POTV calculator, just both check this looks right for me please, preety please..lol Nb 54mg 100 pg 70/30 10mls at 18mg Base nic 3.3mls PG. 2.5mls VG. 3.0mls Liq. 0.5mls DNB. 0.2mls USA. 0.5mls Total flavours 1.2mls So just checking my understanding that had my nic base been vg based the PG and the VG would have been the opposite way round in quantity needed? Thanks to you both ever so much for your help, as you can see I need it!....lol

If you used VG nic base you wouldnt be able to mix that recipe at 70/30 pg/vg. There would be too much vg base used to be able to balance it out with pg to get it to that ratio without taking the mix under the 18mg final strength

Guys I just tried it on the calculator and it said...(based on it being a vg based nic)
PG 5.8
VG O.O.... a bit fat zero, is this because the VG is in the nicotine base then?
So sorry about this but I want to understand a bit of what's going on before I start messing with it.

The calculator you are using must not give negative figures because on e juice me up it actually says you would need to remove 0.3ml of VG to get it to 70/30. But as a rough guide you could leave it at 5.8 and it would just be a tiny bit over the 18mg you want

So is it safe to say that if I vape pre made juices at 70/30 to buy 54nic pg and make up my mixes all at 70/30 and my calculator will do the rest for me?

Yeah that should work perfectly fine if you stick to buying PG nic base.
