is there signs in and around london to warn you that you are entering the congestion charge area ??

google says i wont be ..but i dont trust that and the last thingi need is a bleedin nother fine

Haha, yeah big signs kev, remember don't apply at weekends, only mon-fri inc But if you think you may have gone into the Zone, buy a ticket afterwards and you are covered.

already bought a bullet proof vest to go with my tin hat (anti ear licker type)

i have read and understand the congestion charge and am aware i can buy a ticket afterwards if i enter

aa route says i wont enter and as travelling down sat will be safe ..its the coming home monday morning (assuming i aint been shot) that i have to be carefull about :-)
dont mind paying the tenner one bit will just mean one less pint of guinness
looking forward to my visit to the smoke,,,, hotel,, car park and theatre tickets all booked :-) looking forward to seeing faces old and new :-))

question 2 ,,, as i will have a day in london to make the best of before the evenings show can anyone recomend ways to spend my time ..the obvious ones like london eye etc etc i already know of ...any hidden gems ???
i quite fancy the emirates tour but somehow i dont think the mrs will be too pleased ..lol

You can take a short walk from london bridge to tower bridge and you can pay to go up on the walkways
Then wander over tower bridge and take a wander round the tower of london
There are plenty of buses on a frequent service and westminster and trafalgar square are not very far away.
Or China town just off of soho if you fancy some top notch chinese grub

cheers blakey but i wont be staying near london bridge and thought more of going straight into the centre ie bond street leicster square , picadilly area`s ,, but that said i got all day so anything goes

outskirts pal ..east? india not too from from london bridge about 4 or 5 miles ..got canary wharf just below me and the famous gherkin but too sure that will be on my wish list of places to visit

Outskirts of the city then, you have to go past all the stuff I mentioned to get to all the stuff that you mentioned
