Hello from a newbie and tips please

Red Astaire - wonderful as it is, is much improved for me mixed from concentrate at 50/50 - I find all the premixed stuff from T-juice very harsh on my throat at the 80/20 mix they use

After months away from the forum, here I am back giving an update lol
Loads has happened...we now have every tank imaginable, tubs of pre mixed juices, tubs of concentrates, pg, vg....you name it we have it...hubby hasnt had a stinkie since 6th September...he now has a Vamo 5 with an Iclear 30 tank...mixes his own juice...and on no nic....no throat hit and he is missing that...how do you get throat hit without nic? he tries mine and gets that kick...
Me well I gave it a good go....smoking the stinkies again...half and half ...I still have the Ego vv battery.....but once I am on that wagon again I shall be buying the Vamo 5 and I really want the Innokin Itaste mvp too.....all the CE tanks went in the bin....mainly Iclear 16 or Evods on mine now, still loving the T Juices....but have just ordered the concentrates so hubby can share too. Not got brave enough to mix my own with nic yet tho...so I still buy a few low nic juices for myself...6-12 mg.....
So the journey continues.....I just never had the time to jump on the forum but I shall be doing from now on in

Hi Debbie13 and welcome back!

If you don't want to get into rebuilding coils, then you best bet for a dripper is still one of these You need a seperate drip tip for them, but if you order 3 for £9 then you get a free drip tip. Will look pretty silly on a vamo, or any other mod, I test all my juices with these on an old ego, then once I know I'll like them, I fill a tank and use a mod.

just out of interest, why are you reducing your nic mg whilst still smoking? I think you'd find it easier to kick the stinkies with a higher mg to help satisfy the cravings. People ask me when I'm going to quit the nic, my reply is nic is no more harmful than caffeine and I'm not going to stop drinking coffee any time soon!

Grab yourself the MVP or Vamo and a good clearo or two, sorry three or four, and you'll notice the difference from the eGo and evod/iClear 16.  I've got a couple of evods and have used similar clearos to the 16, but they don't feel or look right to me on something the size of the MVP and I'm sure I'd feel the same with a Vamo.  As much as I like the evods, they only get used on my back-up eGo batteries.

The difference in gear might be enough to help you leave the stinkies for good, but upping the nicotine levels for a while really won't do any harm.  I don't know how much you smoke at the moment, but if you are vaping at 6-12 and smoking, 18mg might not be enough.  Perhaps a few bottles at 24mg might do the trick?

Thanks for the welcome back, I do have higher strength nic liquids still in my tub, millions of the blighters lol, I dont like the kick it gives on my throat thats why I am on the lower ones, nicer experience. Have ordered some more concentrates to mix the higher nic ones with, hopefully the taste will outway the feeling it gives on my throat, When I tried on the higher nic before I would rather have a stinkie, it made me cough and choke and I hated it...I looked into what nic my rollie would give me and its 16mg....anything higher and I hated the whole experience. So the lower nic is better It was never my intention to stop all together, so any I smoke less is a bonus....if it happens it happens just like it did for hubby. Its not really the craving, its the habit, I spend so much time just playing with the ecig in one hand.....thats the key for me, the actual rolling, lighting it...thats what I miss. Most of the time the stinkies I do smoke are put out half way through.....its the actual habit of rolling etc that gets me more. I do notice the difference with the Vamo, when hubby is in from work we kinda share it....I have my own Iclear 30 tank, so all ready for the Vamo, not buying it till I get back to that 10 a day mark tho, at present its about 15 a day. We have spent loads more than we did when we both smoked, so need to stop bloomin buying stuff lol

Hhmmmmmmm need to stop buying I said lol.....thank you for the link to the Atomizer etc...just ordered the 3 for £9 with the free drip tip. Shall use them on my Ego battery.  Now for the MVP thread

Just a thought on this Debbie13, and i know you say you're not worried about quitting, but if you were to start mixing your own, by dropping the % of PG and increasing the % of VG, you would reduce the throat hit and still have a fighting chance of getting the nic you need to kick the stinkies.  



Current thinking is you only get about 30% of the nic through vaping compared to smoking, so despite your rollies being 16mg, you'd need to vape 16mg juice for 3 times longer than you smoke to get the same nic.

And of course, mixing would give you something to occupy your hands when the figiting to roll a stinkie strikes!

Once the T Juice concentrates arrive I shall play about with the VG etc, I have about 15 bottles of 24 nic, maybe 2 higher.......what I really need to do is find someone who would be willing to let me roll and roll into tins for them lol...their backie etc....I dont need to smoke them just roll them. It strikes when I am surfing the net more, why its great to mess about with my Ego with my left hand while my right is on the mouse.  Black Jack is another fave of mine.....pity hubby and daughter hate the smell of it....the stronger the flavor the better for me with any of them. What I have found out is that other flavors really are weak to me, some no flavor at all, I think my taste buds have broken.....Red Astaire, Afro Dizziac and Black Jack.....the stronger the better, its like I can almost be eating it they are that strong....just what I like The down fall to that is that I have gazzilions of bottles of other juices......they dont go to waste tho...I just add some strong flavor and away we vape lol
Theres me wanting less throat hit and hubby wants more throat hit.....he has been vaping at nil nic for a few months now....just misses that kick he gets when testing some of mine....once the latest vape mail arrives we shall be set up for trying so many ways with so many flavors.....can mess with the ratios and nic levels and see what comes of that.....

Just a thought maybe get some vg (boots health glycerine @ £1.29) and add to some of your higher nic juices to reduce the throat hit. Might save wasting them. I still vape 18mg but haven't touched a ciggie since starting. I don't like much throat hit either but I mix my own at 60/40 I know T-juice mix at 80/20 which I don't like at all. Mixing is really easy once you get started. It's the thought that's scary

Thanks for that, Hubby has everything...VG, PG etc...I have mixed with him, they are not wasted...I just add some strong concentrate and vape away....lol....the only thing we have not done is get the nic and add that.....maybe the next thing to do ...I do notice having a test on hubby's home made with no nic that the taste is there but no throat hit....would adding more PG help him to get a throat hit without adding some nic????

Hi Debbie , i have a small story for you : me and my ex wife we was starting in the same time vaping ,after 1 week she start to mix vaping with regular cigarettes. The result is : now she smok again only stinkies ... YOU HAVE TO DECIDE WHICH PART YOU ARE !!!!!!!!!! Dont understand me wrong , is hard i know but please dont short your life smoking stinkies. Just think about smelling ,taste and another 100.000 reasons to quit .
